how did you get your icon ideas?? i cant seem to figure out what to do about being bored with the regular four sided icons lol

Well to be honest I was tired of using the same look on all of my blogs so all I did was look up icon ideas on the tumblr tag. I’m not sure exactly how I worded it lol hey, bad memory!As for like the colors & stuff, I wanted to do what I did with my Marceline icons. Like use a lighter base color and a really dark color for the actual photo if that makes sense? Basically use the character’s color scheme. You know, like this:

I dunno I just get really annoyed if I leave it like an original photo because it never really works with the look of my themes or doesn’t look right with the border. Yanno what I mean?
