People often ask me about my process and so I thought about sharing the profession of the painting from my last post. For “Together” I started by doing a 10.5in x 10.5in black and white study of piece ( available at https://www.raymondbonilla.com/purchase ) to work out my values. I then did an 8in x 8in color study ( available at @abendgallery )of the piece in oils to work out my color scheme. With those two in hand I was able to execute the final 24in x 24in painting ( available at @meibohmfinearts )fairly quickly. Hi Everyone! Long time no see! I apologize for the delay in posts but some life changing things happened to me over the last few months (all good) that took me away from posting. While I have been painting non stop since then, I can’t show most of what I’ve made.
