  she'll let out a very small sigh, closing her eyes for a second before opening once more.   reaching up, she'll give him a little pat on the head.   he was being genuine with her and not too much of an annoyance at the moment, it was the least she could do.

  yes, this is her trying to be nice.

Syl continued with his acts of affection by rubbing the top of her head. it may seem a bit questionable but he was in a very good mood thanks to her. “ I need your love and attention, ruri-chan!” 

  while the head rubbing and patting is rather annoying, she's much too tired to make him stop at the moment.

     " huh?   you know me, i'm not normally a very love and affection type person. "

  save for chouko and ichirou, but she won't mention that.

     she loves ichirou so much!!

he throws himself @ her. " hAPPY BIRTHDAY, RURI-CHAN!! MY DAUGHTER IS ALL GROWN UP, AND SHE'S GETTING MARRIED!" he's crying, really. he is truly happy for her. " I know ichirou was a good guy for you after all!!"

     she’ll just smile and hug him back.

        “ i’ve been grown up!   thanks though, syl!   h-hey, why are you crying? ”

BUSTS INTO THE ROOM "NICO!!!!!! NICO NICO NICO!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I GOT YOU A PRESENT!!!!!" he hands over a bag with a pair of cat ear headphones inside. "i wasn't really sure what to get you but these are really cute so i thought you'd like them!!"

      “ huh? ”

   she was partly confused because she had forgotten he got him to believe she was actually nico.   also,   she had forgotten it was her birthday.   smiling a bit,    she opened the present.   pulling out the cat ear headphones,   she smiled up at him.

       “ ah, thanks..!   you didn’t really have to get me anything though- ”

       work is so busy.   she just wants to sleep.
