Every single ad I’m getting now online is just ai ads. Like mostly ads for using ai. Only a few ads made with ai advertising for something else like gambling, games, even law firms. Why are they pushing so hard for everyone to use ai and spending so much money on ai when everyday people tend to dislike ai.

Rapid firing of events happened all at once last night at work. A customer broke a glass and as I was rushing over to it, a door dasher thrusted her phone into my face asking me where an item was.

As I’m saying “give me one moment I need to call out this spill” and reassuring the other customers they are okay to leave the glass they dropped, my manager calls me on the radio looking for me.

Then I’m suddenly juggling multiple conversations between this impatient customer and my manager, who is ignoring the fact that I’m shuffling glass out of the main aisle, to tell me I’m training someone 😵‍💫 all within the span of 5 seconds

Probably a skewed memory from my childhood but I remember exploring my grandma’s basement and coming across a tiny concrete room with one tiny window. It was infested with spiders. Webbing completely covering it. In the center there was a lone can of green beans. The light from the window twinkled along the spiderwebs. I remember it looking beautiful but

I was so terrified of that room I never went down there again.

I work in a store that has an eye care center in it and I overheard one of the doctors talking about how “chat gpt has become like a friend” to her and was just glazing ai in general. Also the amount of customers that come in looking for a product going “chat GPT told me [x] product is blah blah blah blah” makes me want to bash my head in. Especially when the information is wrong….

Why is humanity becoming so stupid and reliant on these bullshit data harvesting scams. People would rather rot their brains and become “friends” with slop than interact with real human beings. Nonexistent non-physical bullshit. Human intelligence is on a rapid decline.
