Oh okay so the game DOES want me to think this. Now, my thing is: is this truly how it is? Because of the experiments and the way fon mimicry (idr the name) works and Jade saying it’s impossible, Luke MIGHT have been made into an empty vessel to contain Lorelai’s fon resonance? That’s where I am. There’s a lot of implications of this but mostly I’m at:  - Van knows that Luke’s a Seventh Fonon user because he told him not to clash with Tear and has not been at all surprised and he controls the god generals AND when faced with Luke manifesting Lorelai’s power (I assume that’s still Lorelai) he took the time to manipulate him into being pliable  - Do Luke’s parents know?? I don’t think his mom does. His dad might.

Choral Castle is CLEARLY some kind of brain programming place. The way they said, “I used Choral Castle” made it sound like its whole existence is predicated on that machine, whose powers seem based around memory. They talked about “wiping the data” as in Luke has something in him that’s too powerful (i.e. the voice in his head?). Likewise, Guy is missing one (1) memory that made him incredibly averse to women touching him (which is a lot). And finally they talked about Fon seals on Luke? Fon slots? Which sounds like he underwent some horrifically heinous procedures.

So my CURRENT theory is that Luke’s maybe some kind of reincarnation or!! or they inserted something/someone into him as an experiment like Lloyd’s Exsphere. I desperately want to know more, but I must sleep now. I think this is a good length for my first Abyss Report!

I’m still excited I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress in the last few days and I’m really looking forward to seeing how all of this wraps up.

I feel like there are still like a big amount of secrets? Colette keeps hiding something about her body, Kratos is clearly trying to be a double agent at some point, I’m totally unclear on whether severing these connections will actually help ALSO no one has made ANY connections about how Sheena’s getting these summon spirits from both lands and clearly Mithos got them from both? I feel like it’s cutting the ties Mithos made and MIthos might be like an angel? Which would mean he did it for nefarious reasons but I don’t understand how he did this exact thing we’re doing but to fasten the worlds rather than unfasten them?

Also, has no one tried to claim the summon spirits since Mithos? Because Sheena made it seem like “oh this is a big deal for my village” not “this is a historical event, me trying to summon a spirit” which is interesting because like. 1) Volt killed half her village for trying to summon it and not being able to speak to it and 2) why did her village need her to perform such desperate measures when Tethealla was in incline?
