Brigitte hadn’t expected for Lena to enjoy her tossed together analogy so much , but her laughter most definitely got a rise from the Swede .

She giggles merrily again , blinking in pleasant surprise when he introduces himself , sticking her hand out to shake his with an air of confidence .  “ I’m Brigitte ! You can call me Brig or whatever for short . “ The Lindholm girl gives a small nod after her introduction , looking up at the menu for a brief second . “ Honestly ? I can get behind anything with chocolate chips in it  . “ She states casually , very good beginner muffin in her opinion .

She didn’t even know what kind of work Morrison would shut down , but she decided it best not to ask .

She leans against a wall , trying to make some sort of conclusion in her head about the woman she was currently looking at . She felt more like they were both the rock and the hard place and the people trapped between , and she didn’t like that . No , not one bit of comfort founds its way to the Lindholm girls consciousness as she waited for the reply . To Brigitte , Overwatch had always been her dream - G-d , it was even in her blood and youth . Overwatch was and continued to be everything to her , it’s her g-dfather and her father and all of the family friends she had . She knew that feeling would not be shared with this stranger . Unfortunately , seemed she was right on target .  Asshole ? ! Shit show ? ! ? Brigitte’s expression flashed shock and misery for a moment before she straightens her posture . “ I did , or uh , family did . A mixture of the two , really . . You can think what you’d like, okej , but having a chance to do some good , isn’t a shit show to me . “ She spoke softly but seriously , crossing her arms and looking at her with big , hopeful amber eyes . Eyes that did truly hope to help , and meant what she said .

“ You aren’t going to let me , are you ? “ She sort of snorts with a roll of her eyes and a shift of weight from one foot to the next , most definitely having thought of having it to herself . Unlike some , she has an avid sweet tooth that could only be quenched with various slices of sugary apple pie . “ Okay , deal - You get forks and we can share , you thief . “ She laughs the last bit out , sitting down and pulling a seat out for him with her foot .

She was quickly putting away things she was working on , as her workshop was admittedly not the cleanest place to be , but it was the least busy and least suspicious . “ This sort of thing doesn’t just poof into thin air , ya know ! Whatever or whoever you’re playing with that did this to you probably won’t follow that little suggestion . “ The Swedish mechanic replies to the proposal with more worry than annoyance despite her best efforts and , with a gentle sigh , moved back over to her to start putting antiseptic on any open cuts.
