And the fact she sat there and watched both Sam and Bucky stare at each other and thought they were having a staring contest and not struggling to hold themselves back from each other (which was clearly what was REALLY happening) is further proof of that.

These heatwaves have me thinking about how insane it must have been for Steve and Bucky there first summers out of the ice.

Imagine going from 1940’s heat to 2010’s heat in basically the snap of a finger.

I feel like we don’t talk about Bucky’s WW2 trauma and how it affected him enough. Like we talk about the trauma from Hydra and becoming the winter soldier, but he probably also has a lot of unresolved trauma from the war too.

I wish that they acknowledged the war when they were talking about Bucky’s trauma in TFATWS.

Somewhere out there in the multiverse the avengers are celebrating pride at a pride parade on a big arse float they made themselves and popping party poppers into the crowd.

Sam and Bucky are up front snogging the lips of each other while everyone cheers, Nat and Clint are shooting water guns into the crowd, Steve and Tony are arguing over who gets to steer (they almost crash a few times,) Bruce has convicted Thor to dress in drag and everyone else is wearing the brightest coloured clothes they own and waving pride flags.

Sam loves too read in the evenings, usually modern fiction works he spots in the front of the book shop. But he’s been wanting to expand his horizons, so he starts reading older classics.

But when he starts reading them, it becomes very clear to him that he doesn’t understand some of the language used. So he turns to his husband Bucky and asks him to translate them.

However, what starts as Bucky translating old phrase quickly becomes Bucky reading to Sam every evening before bed.
