it's been a while since i promoted it (because stupid england decided to leave the EU all that time ago but then like last year (?) they introduced even MORE hurdles and now small businesses have to get a bunch of extra qualifications to sell abroad and i just REALLY can't get my head around it) BUT... to my friends in england, my local friends in the same country as me, (england) my ko-fi storefront is still active with a bunch of tote bags & even a couple aprons and oven gloves. plus stickers of course.

i'm afraid i can't discount anything because i need the cash but i HOPE the prices can be considered fair (custom fabric is not cheap)

i've had a CRAVING to make myself an outfit with filipiniana sleeves using the eyes-pinya pattern i made from some doodles i did back in my uni days...

i have a little of the fabric but not enough to make the outfit (i'm gonna do the pants + top one, then maybe if it works make the dress one for my sis) so i want to order some more fabric but in a larger print size (bigger pineapples) and then i started playing around with the colours... what do we think looks best:

i miss the energy my 2016-2017 self had tbh!!! they were really drawing 😂 that hyperfixation induced ability to just churn out drawings with gleeful abandon

have recently been doodling more and just being free and loose with it instead of worrying about making final pieces... these are doodles based on how i'd costume the LOTR musical based on my own personal aesthetic (that's why they all have pink/pink-adjacent hair) galadriel as a star trek TNG inspired baddie with just a ton of sparkly lamé fabric, and merry+pippin as knitwear urchins (very west end production coded)... tbh it's kind of giving 80s fantasy isn't it. perhaps i WILL refine the concept sometime but for now... sketchbook vibes, wheee!
