Hey y’all, since I want to start making this tumblr more active again (since I’m also having it be a focus on my business card and I don’t want to solely post on instagram) here’s one of four prints I’m planning on selling at AnimeNYC this weekend! Throughout today (and potentially tomorrow) I’ll be posting other prints I’m planning on selling, showing off the business cards I made, and an exact map where to find table J4 (the artist alley table @p-glitchii and I will be at).

This is based on the announcement photo that Jonny Cruz, Charlet Chung, Lucie Pohl, and Gaku Space shared saying they’d be at animeNYC. For some reason the colors are coming out  as extra bright here on tumblr.

uhhh this was a wip from a while ago of the persona 5 student challenge thing

i never finished this (and I might delete this later early wip post later) since I didn’t like how this initial wip/draft turned out. if I don’t delete it I also might work on the description later but now I’m out of the door in a rush :O

uhhhh wip of these venice monsters I did; I enjoyed the concept of these dudes but I didn’t know what direction I wanted to go with either; so I didn’t really finish either. I might elaborate on these descriptions later but I just wanted to post them for now since I haven’t posted here in a while

here’s the first elaborate sketch of an OC of mine from this story I wrote a long while ago. Her name is Raiburs and she’s strong and she leads a cult of this inter-dimensional beast that’s trying to end the world (she gets better over time though).

Quick Update post!

Despite last update here saying I would be posting more art, and there haven’t been posts in that timeframe: BUT that’s because I’ve been trying to get into the habit to post art more regularly on Instagram!

It’s been a while since I last updated (last few months kinda sucked for me confidence wise); but I’m looking to turn that attitude around and return to the former consistency I had with confidence!

Cordana Wip 3

This is probably the last wip I’ll be posting before I post the final thing. The general base values are there so what I’m aiming to do for the finish is to smooth out certain edges, make some of the values more clean (namely shoulders, skull patterns, and horns).

I might take a tiny break and start other fan arts in the same style, I’ve been feeling awfully inspired in general lately (especially at earlier times which is nicer for a chance) so that’s really great in all honesty.

Progress after first Cordana Wip

I’m not sure if it’s better to make a separate post or reblog and add to an image for more visibility but I never tried the former so I’ll try that for the time being?

Anyways since I started the painting late last night here’s what I was able to continue from the wip before I fell asleep. I would’ve posted last night but I was a tad bit too tired to do so here she is now :^)

I’ll try to finish this today so I can start working on other fan art (but if I need more time then I’ll take it).

Spicy Wip of a Special Warden ;)

It’s Inktober and I’ve been doing more digital art than Ink (rip (and I just remembered I still have to post my inktobers that I have done; double rip)).

Regardless of the fact, I’ve been having fun just doing (and trying out!) a lot of new different ways to style my digital art. This time I’ve been going for a painterly feel since I feel a lot of my digital work has been dictated by lines over colors and values. To challenge this I tried and played around with different brushes; and I decided to use brushstrokes to dictate and not use lines at all for the piece at the moment.

This first fan art I’ll be working on as a wip is one of my favorite Legion Dungeoun Bosses in one of my favorite Legion Dungeouns in general, Cordana.

I have a fuck ton of fan art I want to do since I’ve been feeling pretty good and inspired lately. So this’ll be the first of many coming up.

UNPRECEDENTED

So October has begun and I want to use this time to get more into the creative rhythm again (I actually have an Inktober sketch that I did earlier today that I wanted to post on Instagram and here (but I was so invested in the C9 vs FW game that I was too over-joyous to ready posting it).

It was 1:30 in the morning; and I decided to start sketching anything digitally, I eventually got to sketching this new character idea (I’ll post process/initial sketch pictures later). I’ll continue with this piece later because I feel the character could wind up being moderately interesting (especially when I get different angles and poses for her) and it’s also very late.

(Late 21; Early 22)

It’s been a while since I last sketched/posted some new content stuff (I know I know; I let me down).

A little bit of story/context behind this art this time: I started the green hooded dude/thumbnail of a pose of his and the random anything face sketch on the right last night (since I wanted to try and get some more art practice in before trying to raid Emerald Nightmare). I eventually took a nap because I got a tad bit fatigued out of nowhere (kind of a long day with a wake earlier in the day) and I was kind of waiting for other friends to sign on. I woke up from the nap and after spending time doing whatever after waking up I sketched the robot dude as a wip and I’m going to try and get a lot of details on him through (like with the wires below his face on the right).

I’ll post more pictures/reblog on this post more updates with other close ups of certain aspects on the robot dude, I have to get ready for the day and maybe catch up on some rest in an upcoming car ride!

long eyes and masks

In the midst of a tiny existential dread moment I decided to draw a bit more of anything. I eventually somehow got to heads, weird creatures/monster thingies and a stride to have fun again with more conceptual work.

I had some fun with the golden exo dude so I decided to add a bit more values to him on a separate layer. The red stuff was another concept but that’s also on a completely different layer so I can rework that a ton at will. 

I’m feeling a ton better now after doing this and can’t wait to continue expanding on this idea more in the future.
