I still don't own the vinyls, and now they're releasing soundtrack CDs too 😭💔 Bro, I want them so bad... The discs are so cute.
The Nintendo Complete Edition from iam8bit is so good. I don't even own a Switch, but I want those boss cards so bad. 😭
I'd love to get my hands on the keychains, pins, and brooch too. The marionette is so cool as well...
But I'm still broke. 😔💔
While I'm excited that Lies of P 2 is in production, I'm not excited about the controversy surrounding it.
Through articles, Reddit posts on the Lies of P subreddit, and other social media discussions, I learned that Round8 Studio is reportedly looking to hire an "AI Creator" for their team. Whether this role is directly connected to Lies of P or not, I want to be honest: I do not support generative AI.
I believe generative AI is harmful to creative communities and to artistic integrity as a whole. To me, there is nothing meaningful or creatively special about generated art, especially when it comes at the expense of human artists and developers.
I do not care whether generative AI is being used for "time saving" tasks, art, writing, or coding. In my opinion, no part of a game should be created with generative AI, nor should it even be considered during development.
This honestly damaged a lot of my hope for the sequel. It's disappointing news, especially because the Lies of P team showed so much talent and potential with the first game.
Lies of P, including the DLC (as far as anyone knows), was created without generative AI involvement, and I fully believe the team is capable of doing the same with the sequel.
It's genuinely frustrating to see generative AI becoming so normalized within the gaming industry to the point where studios are actively hiring positions centered around it. I really hope the team listens to the community's backlash and reconsiders this direction.
If it continues and generative AI is confirmed to have been used in the production of Lies of P 2, there is a strong change I will not play the sequel. As unavoidable as AI may be becoming online, this is still something I personally refuse to support.
A quote from my sister (@liesofpprobably): "Astounding to me that the game where the handmade puppet is the good guy and the mass machine made puppets are the enemies would consider using ai"
Birthday means P on the cake for the second year in a row. ( -∀・) It was a cherry cake with coconut frosting, absolutely delicious, and made by my mom. My brother, @reaping-romeo, made me a card, too, he never fails to impress <3
I saw the FNAF 2 movie too! It was soooo good. Though I'm wondering if they're gonna try to end it on the third movie by adding fnaf 3 and Sister Location together to somehow off the Aftons or smthing? I'll forever wish we got the gorey, detail, story-accurate fnaf movies I think every kid who grew up on fnaf wanted, lol, but at least we have Josh Hutcherson 😭
Happy Birthday twin!! 😛🎂
It's time.
Finally, she's there after 6 years 👏
Hello my beauties. It’s lowkey been forever, but the new merch drop has summoned me back from the aether.
I still haven’t even gotten the last few vinyls they dropped 😭 and now they’re out here dropping the Overture version.
Worst part is… I’m still broke.
Hii everyone, it’s been a while. :)
I’ve been messing around with the battle memories lately—redoing boss fights and testing things out. When the feature first dropped I tried it a bit, but I never really dove into it until now.
So far I’ve cleared most of the bosses on max difficulty (5) and earned their rewards: the badges. One thing I noticed is that some of the bosses (at least I think.. my memory’s a little fuzzy) actually seem to have new moves. For example, Nameless Puppet: during phase two he can stumble for a moment and then explode in this red haze that damages and knocks you back. The Archbishop and King of Puppets also seem to have new attacks. Not all bosses got changes, but a few definitely feel different.
And oh my god, the badges are so good. 😭 My favorite so far is Parade Master’s—it’s ridiculously cute. I love that we can decorate our bag with these little pins, it makes the grind so worth it.
Here’s a clip of the Nameless Puppet’s new move I mentioned + a screenshot of some badges on my bag:
I was originally gonna wait to post until I’d finished every boss, but… difficulty 5 Arlecchino and the Two-Faced Overseer are destroying me. 😭💔 (I desperately want Arrlechino's badge, though.)
I’ve finished Overture.
And god, it was incredible. Every second of it—the bosses, the enemies, the new weapons and Legion arms—all of it hit hard. The story beats, too. The glimpse into the Legendary Stalker, Romeo, Arlecchino, and the rest… it was rich, it was heavy, and it was so worth the wait. Pieces of the mystery finally came together, and it felt damn good to witness.
I’m proud to say I’ve wrapped it all up—every achievement unlocked, every weapon and amulet (I think) collected. I gave it my all. And I loved every single moment.
But with Overture’s end, I’m stepping away. Not forever—just for now. I’ll be back in a heartbeat for any update, any collab, any whisper of more. Whether it’s the sequel or something smaller, I’ll return. I promise.
To everyone who showed up, came back, or stuck around—thank you. Seriously.
And thank you, Round8 Studio, for bringing Lies of P into the world.

Lies of P title screens, they are so pretty!!! ❤️
Lies of P: Overture title screens.
Extra screenshots!
Screenshots of Romeo and Lea.
I've finally done it. I have defeated the seventh and final boss of Overture.
Arlecchino, the Blood Artist.
AND BY GOD—this man… oh god this man. 😭
First of all, curse him for what he did to poor Romeo. Second of all… why he kinda… 😏
I mean… I'd hit. 10/10. 🤭
ANYWAYS. This fight genuinely felt like I was facing off against a watered-down Malenia, but in the best way possible. It was fast, frantic, and so damn fun.
Some tips:
*The holy trinity of throwables? They’re a must here. Thermites, throwing cells, and carcass body fluid will absolutely carry you. Throwing cells especially do fantastic damage in both phases—super consistent. Thermite and carcass fluid will steadily chip him down over time, which helps a ton when you're trying to keep pressure up without getting greedy.
Consumables in general play a huge role. You can stagger him, so shot puts are actually really helpful—plus, sharp pipes, saw blades, and cluster grenades all slap. Anything that causes physical damage is worth chucking.
-- I highly recommend using Aegis in this fight. It lets you block and strike at the same time, and the explosion lets you punish him while still playing defensively. It's a great way to deal damage while keeping yourself safe.
- Perfection Grindstone is super solid for this fight, but if you want to spice things up, the Electric Blitz Grindstone works too—it adds a good bit of electric damage.
*Blocking and dodging both matter a lot here. Arlecchino is aggressive and ridiculously quick in both phases. He’s got tons of combo strings, and some of them go on for a quick bit. You’re either fully committing to a block string or praying your dodges line up. Personally, I’d lean into blocking—especially if you’ve got perfect parry timing down. Just be careful, because he will chew through stamina if you mess up.
-- In phase two, he pulls out this projectile move that’s suspiciously similar to Laxasia’s—you’ll see him fire off a volley before charging in himself. I actually dodged them, but if they’re blockable, that’s probably the safer option. Either way, conserve stamina and stay alert.
*He does have a second phase. Like phase one, he’s fast, aggressive, and relentless. But now he can inflict break status, his AoEs are bigger, and those projectile combos start getting mixed into everything. The interesting part? His phase two doesn’t just start—you have to fully deplete his health first. (Honestly, a blessing and a curse.)
*Lea helps you out in this fight, the same way The Tracker did during the Overseer fight. If she gets knocked down mid-fight, don’t leave her there—help her up so she can pull aggro and deal extra damage. At the very beginning of the fight, she’s already down, so make sure you pick her up right away before throwing yourself at Arlecchino.
Here are screenshots and the opening cutscene:
(I’ll happily post his intro to phase two and the ending cutscene if anyone wants them. I've got more screenshots too.)
Oh my goodness...
I think this fatal attack is even better than the last one! 😯
I’ve done it once again… defeated the sixth boss: Lumacchio, Leader of the Bastards. This one was lowkey a pain.
But… hello, Astarion. 😉😏
Some tips:
*Use the holy trinity of throwables and consumables! Thermites, throwing cells, and carcass body fluid are your best friends here. In his first phase, Lumacchio is still human, and carcass body fluid absolutely melts his health.
Once he hits about a quarter HP, he drinks what I assume is some kind of alchemist potion and transforms into a monstrous form. At this point, fire-based attacks will be your go-to for maximum damage.
Use consumables—shot puts, saw blades, sharp pipes, and cluster grenades—to stack on that physical damage.
-- I highly suggest bringing Aegis into this fight. It’ll let you deal extra damage on blocks, which is key when the boss is constantly on the offensive. Pair that with either the flame grindstone for added elemental burn, or the perfection grindstone to land consistent perfect guards.
*Blocking is crucial in this fight. Lumacchio is fast—especially in his first phase—and his relentless attack strings will quickly drain your stamina if you rely too much on dodging. His strikes are tough to avoid unless your timing is spot on.
In his second phase, he slows down just a bit, but don’t get comfortable. He’s still wildly aggressive and can punish mistakes hard.
Screenshot!
I’ve successfully defeated the fifth boss of Overture—Anguished Guardian of the Ruins. This fight was awesome, and it honestly reminded me a lot of Simon and the Archbishop’s battle.
Some tips:
*Leverage the holy trinity of throwables: thermites, throwing cells, and carcass body fluid deal constant damage. Fire is the Guardian's main weakness, so thermites will do the most damage over time. Don't neglect consumables either! Shot puts, saw blades, sharp pipes, and cluster grenades all hit hard and help wear his health down quickly.
-- I recommend using Aegis to punish the Guardian with extra damage when blocking, or Flamberge if you want to stack even more fire damage.
- Apply the flame grindstone to your weapon to build that burn effect even faster.
*Dodging and blocking are both crucial in this fight. The Guardian has a lot of wide-sweeping and chained attacks, especially in the first phase, so blocking is often more reliable. That said, dodging becomes much more important during his second phase, when his attacks are bigger and have blasts.
*A key part of this fight is targeting his horns—one on his head, the other on his hand. Focus on the head horn if you can: breaking it will fully stagger him and let you land a fatal attack. The hand horn only causes a short stagger and doesn't open him up the same way.
-- You can break the head horn easily from a distance by lobbing throwables or consumables at it, or you can just stay aggressive and melee until it cracks.
*The Guardian's second phase begins when his health drops to just under 75%, not halfway like most bosses. Once it kicks in, he enchants the weapon he picked up in the intro cutscene and gains some new moves.
Most of these are easy to dodge, except for one major attack where he slams his enchanted spear into the ground, releasing a golden blast. That attack isn't dodgeable—you must run out of its range to avoid it.
*As a last resort, call forth a specter. It will attract the majority of the aggro, enabling you to strike without issue. If the Guardian does focus on you, dodge or block the attack, with the hope that his attention will shift to the specter.
The opening cutscene of this fight, plus some screenshots! (I recorded the cutscene for phase two and the ending cutscene as well. If anyone wants me to post them, just let me know!)
Oh hell yeah, P strong 💪
This fatal attack is so damn cool.
