"Oh you are such a little joker aren´t you?" Baby5 snarled at him as soon as she could take the cigarette off her red tainted lips. Seriously! who in the world did this guy think he was?? Even if her real name was actually not Baby5, it was none of his business to go around laughing at it!
@pragmarage // KOALA ; "My, such cute clothing. Is this what is in fashion for women nowadays?" Perhaps being lost in this unfamiliar port town was not as bad as the spirit thought. The young woman caught his eye as she was lovely and her clothing looked rather fascinating. Much unlike the kimono the women of his era and home wore. Frilly pink shirt, the maroon skirt with the black high thighs, the cap and golden goggles—the entirety of the outfit all cute at! All while ignoring how different HE must've looked.
The karate instructor´s gaze quickly shifted from her papers as her attention was being drawn by a manly voice not so far away from her. As soon as she turned around, her eyes meet a rather---- wide chest, no wait---- looking up, there she saw him! a tall dark haired man was standing right in front of her!
Cute? oh dear----that could be none other than a compliment! her cheeks began to slowly grow in a particular shade of red, and by particular, she was certainly starting to look a little like a tomato, but just a little.
Koala was a fearsome warrior, there was no doubt about that, yet as much as anyone, she enjoyed the casual shopping from time to time, and with that, fashion certainly came included in the package as well as this was some sort of way to keep her mind away from the piles of paperwork back at the revolutionary headquarters. Until now, no one had really complimented her about her clothing style, so normally, this took her completely by surprise. Wait...Was he joking? that could be a posibility---- no... his tone of voice sounded pretty sincere.
Raising a hand up, she scratched the back of her head in a sheepish manner as she muttered a little and quick thank-you the best he could before coming back to her senses;
"Ah----! Teehee...~ my, don´t mention it, really! i--- well, i guess this might be just my style" She chuckled a little before her eyes scanned him from head to toes--- His clothing...It wasn´t the usual kind of style she would see around...Could he be a tourist? "Excuse me if i´m being meddlesome, but could it be that you are not from here?"

A rustle of feathers NOT HIS OWN catches his attention long before another’s weight settles beside him, prompting an idle gaze to flick towards most unexpected company. What he finds is a familiar sight : Monet, beloved tome in hand and reading glasses perched upon her nose in quiet focus, enraptured by rivers of words he could naught but fathom. Perhaps, then, some CURIOSITY comes natural — Rocinante’s frame shifting back against the settee to risk a subtle peak at splayed pages, eyes hidden beneath the tinted lenses of his own glasses. ( Would she catch on still? )
THE HEART poises a quiet onlooker, painted lips ever sealed in scarlet. ( But there are hazy memories blooming somewhere at the back of his mind, fragments of a mother’s gentle smile peaking over books and a voice which kindly wonders : Roci, would you like to join me? ) Such dreams of bygone CHILDHOOD DAYS feel a lifetime ago, where he sat upon another’s lap all bright-eyed and eager with each tale told in ink. Now, he reads along in silence — a passenger more than participant.

Crossing her legs one on top of the other, Baby5 remained on her seat as she took the cigarette off her mouth in order to reply to the other. “My debt has increased… to now 98,100,000 Belly.” She replied in a calm tone of voice. Was she even aware of just how much money that was ??

For a second, baby5 doubted whether to hold hands or not with Lucky, mostly due to her own shyness over the thought of holding hands with a man. In all honesty, it wasn´t such a big deal, but in baby5´s mind, it represented the most romantic thing ever.
Deciding that she, and her heart, was ready to RISK it all in the name of love, she took hold of both of his hands eagerly, eyes shining as her cheeks flushed in a bright reddish color.
“Lucky, you don´t have to say another word because I already know the answer… I…I like you too…!!” She exclaimed, almost shouting as she completely MISUNDERSTOOD the other´s actions, thinking that he was about to confess his feelings for her when as he asked to hold her hands.
LAW (and baby 5 on the background) this GIF inspired me to draw it. Those colors seemed awesome to me, so I decided to try them

A soft hum could be heard coming from Monet´s lips as the music softly echoed through the room. Her hands delicately slipping through the pages of her book as she occasionally took a few glances at the swordsman who was sitting across the table, observing him with her bright golden eyes as he, on the other hand, just limited himself to concentrate his full attention to his sword.
Releasing a soft sigh, the green-haired woman decided to let her beloved book rest on top of the table before standing up once again, and already feeling her lips slowly curving up, Monet started walking silently towards zoro. Once she came face to face with the swordsman, Monet extended her arm towards him as she delicately took hold of his hand only to then direct him towards the center of the room, and of course, not before releasing a little giggle along the way;
“Come on, allow me to dance with you to this song…It´s my favorite one” she said as her bright golden eyes locked with his, a smile appearing on her lips once again before she intertwined her fingers with his;
“If you don´t know how to dance, then let me guide you”

there’s a chuckle that leaves him when she grabs the strings of his hat angrily, making him bow his head a little bit. koala’s able to be FURIOUS - oh, he knows that - but this is the ritual ace kind of got used to. once again, he can’t help but notice she keeps being CUTE even while she’s angry && as much as he would like not to piss her off with his actions this is not something he can control. it’s not his fault, okay ?
this meeting after so much time spent apart makes him feel the WARMTH in his chest - he missed it && the thought of it distracts him from listening to koala’s complaining just like he always does. after all, ace knows: even though sometimes she doesn’t show it she’s glad to see him as much as he is, that’s for sure. it still feels a little bit weird - it always takes him some time to wrap his head around the fact people actually like him. they care about him. he makes them worry. he doesn’t deserve them at all, does he ?
ace laughs, a broad grin remains on his face as he straightens his back && takes koala’s hat off her head only to ruffle her hair softly. a few moments later fingers run through her hair in an attempt to fix the mess he made. seems like she’s already read the news && seen his bounty got higher. of course, she has.
damn, it feels like home.
