Northwestern junior Jazz Stevens creates posters for a Title IX protest taking place at Northwestern University. The protest is in response to a lawsuit filed against the University and a teacher who was accused of sexual assault.
2. Students protest outside on campus to spark conversation on the issues.
3. Stephens and Kayleen McMonigal work together to make the posters. The two are a couple and are members of the Rainbow Alliance.
4. The two attend NU's Drag Show, sponsored by The Rainbow Alliance. In addition to engaging in student activism, the two are a part of teh LGBTQ community and encourage gender expression.
5. McMonigal dresses in drag and performs for the crowd. At the end of the performance, Stephens went on stage to encourage her partner and finish out the set.
6. Other students and members of the Rainbow Alliance also take part in the Drag Show. Although the show is not known by everyone on campus, it is extremely important to the Rainbow Alliance and the participants.
7. The show is produced by McCormick junior Redmond Lhota, a transgender individual on campus.
