Crashing Down (Dark!Charles Verse) - Open - TW: Suicide
If one were to look closely, they might see to worn-shoe clad feet sticking out the bottom of the branches. If particular attention was made, they might even notice the faint outline of the young man nestled amongst the branches. The tree was one of many that littered the park, but this particular one was easy to climb and overlooked the point where the pavement met the dock and turned to the sea beyond.
High above, there was a sweet sense of serenity. High above, there weren’t any mind to bother him or… Someone had approached the dock, leaning against the wooden beams and slowly, shakily, they ascended upwards.
Charles hit the ground hard, taking no care for a soft landing. There wasn’t time. He’d lost count of how many deaths he’d seen, he wasn’t about to stand by and watch another. "Stop!" he screamed, scrambling towards them and just managing to grab hold of their jacket in time to yank them away from the edge. Both fell back to the safety of the pavement.
Peter had gotten used to climbing, yet it felt like the first day he discovered his climbing prowess all over again as he stumbled through his ascent. An ascent. He scoffed at that. What he was doing -- it was far from an ascent. It was a cowardly choice. Perhaps he was in fact doing the best thing for everybody and removing the flaw from the gene pool.
Perhaps that was his excuse to escape the guilt of Uncle Ben's death. Uncle Ben had supported him and it was his fault he'd died. An eye for an eye. His thoughts scrambled his mind weighing down on him. Slowly, he let go of his supports, his feet carrying his weight. Taking a deep breath, his last, Peter leaned forward letting the imbalance carry him towards the water below him.
He didn't hit the water. He barely even fell. It was then he registered the voice. The desperate cry. With a grunt, he hit the pavement with his side. There was sure to be a bruise over it by morning. "What the hell?!" he demanded rage seeping into his voice, forced and strained. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" He'd finally worked up his nerve and he didn't even go through with it.

The Goblin’s fingers shifted to rub up along Recluse’s jaw. Thebeast leaned in to press severalkisses up Peter’s neck, feelingevery pulse point. Every shiver.
"My mate. My equal. My Spider.”
"Yours."
The Goblin’s lips were pressed up
again Peter’s ear, teeth flashing out to sink into his young mate’s earlobe.
”I can be as bad as you want me to be.” The beast hissed, lips moving out to brush against Recluse’s throat.
The fingers drove the Goblin crazy, but he could play his own version of this game if he had to.
The corner of Recluse's lips pulled up into a coy smirk and he pressed his lips to the soft skin at the Goblin's throat.
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" He groaned, drawing out the sound, low and wanton in the Goblin's ear and he shifted his hips to the side, purposely grinding them against his mate's.
Benjamin’s hands slowly move up just above his shoulders as he sees the gun aimed at him. He has one of his own by his back — but he’s not going to reach for it. ” Not getting any closer. Nothing will get resolved with pointing guns in peoples faces though , just a word of advice. “
"Benny." Peter laughs aloud, his free hand rubbing at his eyes. "Benny, I've gotten myself into a load of shit." He's hardly looking at him, not making eye contact. As if doing so would impact him so greatly that his entire world would crumble.
"Can't resolve anything. Can't be fixed anymore. Don't you see? This is why I have to -- I can't fix it anymore."
The beast smirked over
towards Recluse, long fingers moving to curl into Peter’s own hands.
“It’s not. But that tone made me feel like a very bad man.”
He wriggled, as if he were a cat preparing to pounce, head resting in the crook of the Goblin's neck. "Are you? Will you be? What if I want you to be a very bad man?"
Peter's fingers were thin, delicate, it was a wonder they could support his weight when he swung through the city on his webs, but they were without a doubt, the fingers of an inventor. Each digit guaranteed the utmost precision.
"What’s wrong…are you okay? Just…put the weapon down…." Elizabeth spoke calmly and used a soft tone, backing away.
"Don't! Don't do that! Don't -- stop telling me what to do. His hands shook and he hated the weak feeling in the pit of his stomach. "You don't understand."

Peter wrinkles his nose
"How on earth is monster in bed a bad thing?"
He levels a gun at the figure before him hands shaking He's struggling both with the person in front of him and with himself The Recluse wants and Peter needs. "Don't --" he forces through gritted teeth, "don't you get any closer."
The Spider God and the Goblin Prince
Up from the hole in the ground the prince appeared after awhile. He still had a hood over his face, but he looked up towards the Spider God and gave the slightest bit of a smile.
"Well, what do you know? You showed up." He chuckled slowly and lowered the hood since the moonlight wouldn’t burn him.
Pointed ears perked up and the god all but jumped from his perch to land before the Prince. He'd have given him a huge hug, but something told him strangers didn't really appreciate random hugs from other strangers -- gods or otherwise.
"Of course I showed up." He scrunched up his nose, almost offended the Prince thought he would ditch. "I brought you something!"
