I always thought I'd end up with you // Samantha & Sarah
Samantha wasn’t sure why she was so nervous. She’d known Sarah for a considerable amount of time, and it wasn’t like this was her opportunity to make a good or bad impression in the girl, considering all the facts involved. But Samantha witnessed how things went in the house, and when someone felt something that strayed even a little from friendship, it was usually left alone until it blew up, for good or for bad, and she didn’t want that. She liked to be upfront, and just waiting until something happened wasn’t really her style. Besides, Samantha thought that Sarah deserved something better than that. She deserved an actual date, flowers and dinner – not a cheap excuse. It’s not like Samantha was any expert in romancing, but she decided to follow her gut on that one.
After much bargaining and making puppy eyes a few times, she managed to get someone to serve them dinner before they actually went up the tower, something Samantha was quite pleased with. Once they’d landed in Paris, she went to the hotel first so she could get dressed, not doing anything fancy but choosing a black sleeveless dress and curling her hair slightly, making sure she looked nice and then taking the car to the tower, a single rose in her hand rather than a whole bouquet, something she considered tacky. Nervously chewing on her bottom lip, she glanced from side to side, hoping Sarah would arrive soon.
Sarah wasn't really a person who got nervous, she didn't really experience nerves. Sure, she was rather jumpy around crowds and loud noises, but it wasn't like people themselves made her nervous. She was actually very good at dealing with people, she thought she had excellent social skills. But that didn't stop her from staying awake the entire flight to France - A feat in itself, really, considering the usual effects of air pressure on her body - and changing her outfit nearly four times, which really was ridiculous given the fact that she likely wouldn't be wearing it for long. Well, not if she had anything to do with it, anyways. She'd been on dates before, of course... Well, she'd gone out to dinner a few times with Davlin and had gone to far more parties than she should of with significant others when she was younger, but she'd never really been formally asked out, not this way, not the way Samantha was doing it. That fact in itself made her wiggle around in her seat, her fingers pressed over her pulse in a tic that involved counting off her own heartbeat. There was something incredibly... endearing about Samantha. Sarah didn't know why she'd told the girl everything she had - Literally everything, things that even her sister didn't know about. And for some reason, Sarah recounted as she adjusted her skirt, knee length and made of navy fabric, she'd never considered the fact that Samantha might reject her because of her past. The thought had never crossed her mind, and that revelation stunned her more than anything else.
Sarah checked herself once more in the hotel room mirror - Her skirt was paired with a black, long sleeved sweater, earrings that matched the dark blue of her skirt and her hair up in a bun, held in place by the sterling silver clip her sister had given her before she'd left, and left the room. She met Tulio - Who had donned a suit for the occasion and gave Sarah a sly smile as he fixed the camera, resting on his shoulder before holding open the door for her and allowing her to lead the way. Sarah hadn't taken her anxiety meds, for once - She wanted to be there for Samantha, really, truly, herself, and yet the crowds of people still barely affected her - The butterflies beating their bats against the inside of her stomach had taken precedence over her usual panic.
She spotted Samantha before the other girl spotted her, and Sarah grinned, doing her best to approach as quietly as possible from behind the girl. She slipped her hand to Samantha's waist once she was close enough, pressing her lips to the girl's shoulder and grinning again as she straightened. "Hey,"
To my dearest Queen Sarah, Samantha can be your mistress if Nick can be mine. Everybody knows that the monarchy needs mistresses. From your ever so humble king, Jesse.
You don't even - How do you... ARE YOU SPYING ON ME, JESSE?
Saramantha skype call
Sarah: [Looks down a moment, smiling and nodding] Apparently. [She waits a moment for Sam to reply, giving a thumbs up and nodding again] Sounds good to me. Sounded good anyways, but... yea. I. Okay wow now I am actually kind of nervous. [She smiles again, fiddling with the end of her sleeve and then nodding once more] I'll text you tomorrow, then, for a time?
Samantha: [Her tone is more honest than flirty when she replies, eyes studying Sarah's expression.] So now you know how I feel when I'm around you. [She licks her lips and nods a little, smiling widely again at her suggestion.] That sounds good. So... I'll see you tomorrow, then. Have a good night of sleep, Sarah.
Sarah: [Sarah's expression softens at Samantha's words, and she wriggles a bit in her seat] You sleep well too. Talk to you tomorrow. [She offers the girl one last grin before making a small heart sign with her hands and shutting the laptop, falling back in her seat. She puts her hands over her face as she grins, squealing quietly to herself and wiggling around in her seat before dropping her hands back to her lap.] Don't. [She says with a grin to Tulio, who's laughing at her]

Sarah: Oh do you? [Sarah raises an eyebrow, fighting a grin before bursting into giggles] Now you're making me nervous. I'm starting to understand the whole butterflies thing. [She smiles again, running her fingers through her hair and pulling her bangs out of her face.] When do you want me there?
Samantha: [Cocks an eyebrow at her comment, looking a little proud of herself.] I give you butterflies? That's good to know. [Then, she bites her bottom lip, thinking it over for a second.] Tomorrow? I need to do a little planning.

Sarah: It's an adorably sexy thing, you're good trust me. [Sarah grins again biting her lip and nodding] Are you asking me to meet you on the Eiffel Tower, Ms. Bates?
Samantha: Guess I'm going to have to take your word for it. [Then, she nods eagerly and puts on an all too solemn expression on, the little smile curling her lips betraying it slightly.] Mhmm. I plan on wooing you like no other ever did, Sarah.
Saramantha skype call
Sarah: [Sarah's smile grows wider as Samantha speaks, and she's nodding before the other girl finishes her question] Sam, you are honestly the most adorable person I've ever met, and that's... Wow. Of course I'll go on a date with you, I'd love to.
Samantha: [fights the urge to high five herself, unable to fight the huge grin on her face at Sarah's answer.] Really? And I'm not - I'm not adorable. But I'm thinking Paris. What do you say?
Sarah: It's an adorably sexy thing, you're good trust me. [Sarah grins again biting her lip and nodding] Are you asking me to meet you on the Eiffel Tower, Ms. Bates?
Saramantha skype call
Samantha: [Takes a deep breath before smiling again, her eyes shooting down and then back up to Sarah's eyes.] Would you like to go on a date with me? I... I mean, it would have to be a meet up, but... [She looks down again, trying her best not to sound awkward or stumble over her words.] I want to try and do this right. I mean, I think you deserve that. So, would you? [She starts twiddling her thumbs out of the webcam's view, anxiously waiting for a reply.]
Sarah: [Sarah's smile grows wider as Samantha speaks, and she's nodding before the other girl finishes her question] Sam, you are honestly the most adorable person I've ever met, and that's... Wow. Of course I'll go on a date with you, I'd love to.

Samantha: [Watches as Sarah talks with the camera man, picking invisible threads on her shirt before Sarah shot back the question at her, making her chew on her bottom lip for a second as she raises her eyes back to the screen.] I had something I wanted to ask you. But you have to promise you won't laugh.
Sarah: [Sarah grins immediately, resting her elbow on the table and her chin on her hand] I promise not to laugh. [She says easily, tucking hair behind her ear] Go for it.
Saramantha skype call
Samantha: [laughs a little to herself at Sarah's greeting, looking uncharacteristically nervous for a moment as she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear before speaking again.] It's good to see you too, Sarah. I'm in Washington right now, but I don't think I'm staying for long. What about you? [Her smiles gets wider as she looks at the girl again, waiting for a reply.]
Sarah: [Sarah runs her teeth over her lip as she listens to Samantha, crossing her legs under herself and pulling a blanket over her lap, furrowing her brow at the question] I don't... know actually.... Tulio, where are we? Oh! We're in Italy right now, actually. [Sarah grins, giving Tulio a quick thumbs up and looking back to Samantha] Where am I going next? [She asks, raising an eyebrow]
Saramantha skype call
Samantha: [brushes her hair a few times, making sure she looks okay before nodding a little to herself and clicking on Sarah's window on Skype, tapping her fingers on her leg as she waits for her to pick up.]
Sarah: [Sarah lets out a quiet sound of annoyance when her Skype rings, sitting up in her seat and opening it the rest of the way, accepting the call without checking the name. She yawns, rubbing at her eyes as she resettles in her seat] Jesse I swear to go - Sam! [Sarah grins immediately at the girl, readjusting her screen] Hey! Where are you right now?
Confessional #1
I've been sleeping a lot. Also my name's Sarah. But yea, I've just... You know that feeling when you wake up and don't want to open your eyes, so you just lie there uselessly and pray you go back to sleep cause you're not ready to face anything? That's basically how I feel all the time now. And it's not... It's not like I don't want to get out of bed and see people and stuff... Maybe it's the constant air pressure on the plane that's keeping me half asleep, but anyways... I have to pick up the pace.
Especially if I want to see Samantha more. This whole quota thing we have to do before meeting up with the same person is really pretty discouraging. Of course there's other people I want to see - Davlin, Mike, Rachel, Wes, Zack, Jesse, I'd like to see Molly but unless there's a dick involved she's not showing up, but I'd really just like to be able to curl up with Samantha, and I can't, and Tulio's awesome but he's not really cuddle material.
One really awesome thing about this whole travelling everywhere set up is, well, that I got cleared to go obviously but also the food. Everything is fucking delicious.
Speaking of which, I haven’t eaten yet today. Seeya!

Riddle Numbero Uno. | Ranica
It took him the entire flight to Brazil to actually figure most of that shit out. He read the riddle over and over again, every several reads actually understanding one part. The only thing he ended up needing help with was the giant dude who wanted a hug. He was ninety percent sure it was Budha cause that dude wants belly rubs. Once it was googled, he finally figured everything out. And then understood why Davlin’s junk was in pain. Immediately, his own hand went to cup himself and his face turned into a reflexive flinch at the thought. He was near sluggish getting off of the plane before remembering this was probably a competition of sorts and putting a small pep in his step. Rio (he can’t decide on a name so his camerawoman is just gonna have to deal with being the place or country of the day) followed after, quickly finding a taxi and telling the driver to take him to a wax shop.
Thirty minutes later, he was practically limping out of the taxi— his crotch area still not exactly happy with the pain he put himself through there. The Christ the Redeemer statue stood before him and he crossed his arms, his stance awkward as he awaited for Sarah’s appearance which he hoped would be soon.
In all honesty, Sarah's first thought when reading the riddle had been Barney. The giant guy who always wanted hugs - Barney, and it wasn't like dinosaurs had body hair. She still couldn't decide, even as she got off the plane and followed Tulio to the taxi waiting for them, whether the actual solution was more or less unsettling than her original thought had been. Sue obviously had something against religious objects. Unscrewing the cap of her anxiety meds and pouring a few into her hand, Sarah kept her head down as the drove through the streets. She threw the pills back and swallowed them, near dry, as she got out of the car and headed into the wax shop.
As they pulled up to the Christ Redeemer statue, Sarah couldn't help but laugh at the way Wes was standing, stepping out of the taxi and walking towards him. "Sore?" She called out, closing the rest of the distance between them and giving the man a grin. She didn't give him a true chance to reply, however, leaning up on her toes and curling her fingers in the collar of his shirt to keep her balance as she kissed him.
Come to Brazil with me Chandlaaaaaaaaah
Why are we going to Brazil when there’s the ri— oh.
