Kal and Clark!
I'd imagine they'd be like cousins.
John Byrne did irrevocable damage to Krypton's reputation with his 1986's The Man of Steel reboot, which restarted Superman from fresh. In it he depicts Krypton as a cold sterile people who only care about mining their planet's resource no matter the cost, to the extent Kryptonians are designer babies.
Various writers and live action directors have tried combating this person, from Grant Morrison, to Zack Snyder (yes he counts), to Greg Pak to Jason Aaron and so on on.
The latest example of this trend is James Gunn's Superman trend, in which Jor-El and Lara sent Clark to Earth not so he can live no no that's too altruistic of Kryptonians. They send him to conquer Earth and have a harem of wives, which like fuck this and fuck you Gunn for this moronic creative choice.
Superman will never recover from the "Krypton actually sucks" mentality as a franchise will it?
This is the most indecisive Superman costume in live action, it wants to be New 52ified, it wants to be Kingdom Come, it wants to be classic and as a result it mashes all those elements together into something that doesn't work at all cohesively
Disclaimer: This isn't about the assumed quality of the films and how they stack up as Superman adaptations, this is my own personal taste
I'm a way bigger fan of the Snyderverse Superman suit, yes it has airbrushed muscles but I still like the detailing more
I've never seen a video game character yearn as hard as Phrolova does, fake idgafr right there
It's infinitely funnier to me when Superman just goes through the Kaiju's foot, on the rare occasion he fights one. And Superman just goes "Now there's a lesson to be learned from this experience"
I love Silver Chariot's OVA design, it's so cool and the gold detailing is neat
Twitter is a fucking shitstain, Chisa calls Rover "Senpai" because they used to be her upper schoolmate in Startorch Academy and that means she's another member of the "harem" now
Once, we dreamed of being strangers. Upon waking up, we realized we had always loved each other. - Firefly
I once dreamt that we were dear to each other. I woke to find we were strangers. - Phrolova
Coincidence? Or intentional parallel between HoYo's Firefly and Kuro's Phrolova?
Is it a death glare or is Yozora just always this tired looking?

I've renamed SSG, SSB and MUI into Flamestate, Sparkstate and Flowstate. I will personally use those names for those forms from now on, feel free to join me in doing so if you want
That's my boy, they brought N52 Superman back for the 2025 movie
