clark doesn't quite know how he got roped into doing this, but now he's in your apartment, painting your walls that were too high for you to reach. i mean, seriously, he was walking down the street and was approached by a filming crew, and suddenly he was holding a 'borrow a boyfriend sign' and muttering under his breath.

"my gosh, i have got to learn how to say no"

and that's how he ended up here, getting paint all over a nice shirt because of his people-pleasing personality. i mean, it's not like this girl isn't cute- not that he would do something nice for someone just because he was attracted to them, but she was kinda cute.

"thank you so much- uh, i'm sorry, i never got your name." you mention, furrowing your eyebrows.

"it's clark" the tall man says, giving you the classic 'boy-next-door' smile. you smile back. he looks away, blushing. oh my god, is he blushing?

"well thank you, clark." you all but whisper, noticing your proximity to the man.

"of course," clark purses his lips "well i guess i'll uh, i'll see you around"

"yeah! yeah. i'll see you. bye, clark." jesus, woman! pull yourself together! you think to yourself

he waves, grabbing his coat and stumbling out the door. surprisingly, that wasn't even the weirdest interaction you've had since moving to metropolis. one time, you saw superman.
