Bertholdt Hoover is the only titan shifter who fights with the other Marleyan soldiers in his human form. He does that because he cares about his comrades that fight with him on the front line of the battlefield, protecting them to minimize the casualties.

He wields dual daggers to slay the foes, combining his exceptional dagger skills with certain martial arts he knows. Many soldiers look up to him, but Bertholdt Hoover who is never seen to show his emotion anymore keeps his distance from everyone, making him unapproachable.
