Why the hell does facebook offer emoji movie stickers?

We already had emoji movie stickers, they’re called emojis! Why the hell should we be using stickers based on a movie based on, effectively stickers?

It’s like the Battleship video game based on the movie Battleship which is based on the Battleship Board game; and equally dumb.

What reason could I have for using these stickers over the emojis? I get to let everyone in on the inside jokes because they’ve seen the movie?

Maybe because stickers appear larger in the messenger than emojis do, and I need to compensate wherever I can with choosing the bigger options?
