alex literally only spells their codename with a k to piss of hank

and the only explanation alex has ever given was “because i’m a sexual deviant that’s why” with spooky fingers wiggled in hank’s face

THE SUIT :

contrary to what xmfc portrays, alex’s suit is, as in the comics, far more important than people realise.

even when under his best levels of control, alex still bleeds out an aura of cosmic radiation that’s harmful to others. at his best without the suit on, people around alex for a prolonged period will develop severe migraines and feel uncomfortably hot- not in a sexual way, in a the room is literally several degrees hotter now than it was two hours ago- 

at his worst he can’t be without it, unable to trust whether the next blink or exhale would blast out an omnidirectional plasma wave. as time goes on the days average out as migraine inducing but there’s always that fear that a burst is about to happen. 

pretty much all the incidents in prison were the result of alex’s unintentional aura and most of the inmates who spent years along side him ended up with some degree of radiation poisoning and worse.

there’s a bathroom in the bunker deep under the mansion specifically for alex, and others like scott for example, to use so others aren’t put in danger from the aura

there’s a panel in the comics where alex breaks down crying over how he can’t even breathe without fearing he’s going to turn everything into the surface of the sun: this is a breakdown that has DEFINITELY happened in the xmcu too

showing up like the amazonian warrior queen she is in her 80s mom jeans, blazer without padded shoulders because aww ye finally a pro to having broad shoulders, massive neon yellow heels, blonde hair sprayed into an updo like madonna and bubble gum lipstick 

charles, hank, and erik... none of them have seen her in her true glory they’ve only ever seen the lost girl who experimented with raven’s old make up and was too shy to come downstairs for dinner in that blue dress

skip forward twenty years and damn they barely recognise her except they fuckin DO because it’s alex, the REAL alex, comfortable in her skin and owning her own femininity and she’s brought her little bro along

jubilee, jean and ororo following her around because ROLE. MODEL. (also CRUSH) and scott is fuckin traumatised by the crush kurt and peter blatantly have on her too

raven has seen alex’s journey and isn’t even jealous at the jaw drop hank has going on she’s just like ‘same hank same’

AGE GAP ::

running with comic influences rather than the shitshow of xmcu continuity

alex is six years younger than scott. when the plane went down, alex was four and scott was ten. for different reasons neither of them can clearly recall what their parents looked like or who they were as people: alex because he was so young, and scott because of the head trauma he suffered upon landing.

his age does vary between verses, depending on interactions with xma characters etc. but in many of my verses he is the younger sibling of scott. the comics are pretty hand wavey with their continuity on character ages...
