Spotlight Since launching, we’ve seen Instagram spread from our headquarters in the Bay Area to every corner of the globe. In this series we highlight Instagrammers from countries and cities with thriving communities.

On the eastern coast of the African continent sits Kenya, a country of 44 million that straddles the Earth’s equator.

In addition to its diverse and picturesque scenery—from the 5,188m (17,021ft) tall peak of Mount Kenya to wildlife-rich savannas—Kenya is also home to a thriving Instagram community.
