Message of gratitude for Touken Ranbu the Musical's tenth anniversary and announcement
Thank you very much for your continued support of Touken Ranbu the Musical.
It is thanks to everyone's warm encouragement that this work, which has been steadily progressing since its debut in 2015, has been able to reach its tenth anniversary this year.
We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Over these ten years, the Touken Danshi have crossed time and woven numerous stories.
Each and every one of those performances was only made possible by the support of each and every person who supported us.
Once again, we would like to express our deep gratitude.
As we reach this milestone, the production committee has an announcement to make.
Touken Ranbu the Musical, over the two years up until December 2027, will take its final steps towards its conclusion as series.
This announcement is not a "falling of the curtains", but rather a "conclusion to connect the road we've walked into the future."
Cherishing the history we've made up until now, until the final moment, in a Toumyu-like way, we will create this with sincerity and all our heart.
As such, to deliver everyone new stories in 2026 as well, we are preparing performances of the following lineup.
February-March 2026: Higekiri Tanki Shutsujin
May 2026: Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin
September-October 2026: New mainline musical
December 2026-January 2027: Large-scale live tour performance
We will announce the details of the 2027 performances at a later date.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the ten years we spent with everyone,
and the days that we will walk together the next two years, we will walk with the greatest respect.
We ask for your continued support until our final performance.

In 2027, Touken Ranbu the Musical will conclude. Since we have begun it, we must also end it. Having completed exactly one zodiac cycle since our first sortie, it's the perfect time to conclude the story of our Citadel.
Looking back, we spent out days these past 10 years as if running a marathon without finish line. Each and every production, we've been fervently facing forward, never becoming complacent, strict with ourselves as well as our surroundings, and with staff and cast working together as team we have immersed ourselves in the wonderful form of expression called theatre, wracking our brains for ideas and fighting on. That's just how compelling the core of "Touken Ranbu" is. Looking up, we can see the heavens in the far distance, diving down deep, we can see beyond the depths at our feet continuing far, far down. Feeling as if we were in the center of the almost boundless universe of "Touken Ranbu", we were able to experience many challenges and much happiness. I'm sure that everyone supporting us feels the same way.
One musical continued for 10 years as a series, successfully accomplished performances in various styles, and even achieved a Dome concert. Touken Ranbu the Musical has carried us, and you as well, to such a grand and big and shining place. That we were able to reach a place like this is something nobody had thought.
That's why we're "resetting for now." So that this beloved Touken Ranbu the Musical can always remain "correct", so that it will always "keep living on"-- that is our collective agreement.
What path will we take these next two years to reach "our destination", and what kind of story will we connect? ...To tell you the truth, we don't know that yet either. However, while cherishing the present moment, we wish to concretely find what we must convey in this present moment in the time we have left, and give that shape.
So that it will be able to "keep living on" from hereon out too-- that is our collective agreement.
