Elliot started an art class this year and loves it. He has studied Piet Mondrian, which speaks to my love of newspaper design, and this week he started learning about Georgia O’Keeffe. When Nanna comes to visit, Max normally comes with her. The more time Elliot spends with dogs, the more it makes me think he needs a fur friend. Here he saw Max sitting on the top/back of the couch and he wanted to do it, too. Max seems a bit unsure of what is happening. #puppylove #dogvisitor #furryfriend

We have been going to the Perot for nearly a year and this is the first time we paid for a special exhibit. It was very interesting, but I wish I had more time to read everything. Another lovely Happy Halloween! In true Elliot fashion, we had a Buzz Lightyear costume ready to go, but I think Elliot picked Darth Vader tonight because we watched a bit of Empire Strikes Back the other night. He said he liked the large dogs, which is apparently All Terrain Armored Transport. We had a great night with our family friends walking around our neighborhood and then finished up handing out almost 1,250 pieces of candy at home (!!!!). I also got my yearly Frankenstein image with Elliot, even though he wanted NOTHING to do with him this year. Best garage sale find EVER. #halloween #pumpkins #toddler

Only a month after turning 3, he finally had his yearly #checkup. Elliot, from Dallas, Texas, now weighs 41 lbs and 41 inches. The doctor said he looked more like a 5 year old than a 3 year old. He didn't have to get shots today, so he really liked the doctor's visit, especially because he walked away with a sticker and a lollipop. #threeyearold
