I'm kinda interested to hear your take/analysis on Jaron's character cuz you mentioned Jaron's parasitic tendencies in your YeahPangi explanation and I'm intrigued to hear more on that👀

Hihihi !! Yes, I'd be happy to bring this up !!!

Jaron !! He's just a guy !! But sometimes he does go a little too far in decision making...

But , why is he like this anyway ?

He's known as a weak guy, and for good reason. He isn't really a fighter, which is kinda needed on SMPs. So why is he able to survive with the lack of fighting ability ? Simple ! He uses others.

SKYBLOCK CIV

It's apparent in the first unstable video he appears in. He is the king of skyblock civilization, and a king needs his citizens ! Though that in itself is not the bad part, it's how he treats them.

Although he does try to prevent anything happening to them, it only ever helps him. Forcing them to never leave sucks, they don't ever feel free as they are stuck up there. The only reason he does this is to make himself feel better about leaving them up there with him. He says it's to "protect them" but in the end it always ends up getting back at him, as the civilization later gotten attacked.

Even if he never directly uses anyone, his behavior affects everyone else negatively, while he's still doing fine.

THE PRANK VIDEO

In this video, he pulls pranks on his peers in lifesteal. By any means, he will do anything to make these pranks go right !

These are mainly towards Pangi, but do affect other lifestealers, hell, he even kills someone just to feel the satisfaction of doing a prank. He loves the dopamine he gets from harming someone, even just as a joke.

This is the time where he feels on top. He isn't weak anymore, as he is now able to do something that was expected, but wasn't harmful in the way it usually was. He could pass it off as a joke, and no one would bat an eye.

SO WHAT ABOUT HIS CHARACTER ?

I do genuinely think he is trying to be a good person, no matter what server he's in. You can tell just by watching him that he doesn't really have malicious intent when he does something. He simply does it if it gets him something in return, whether it hurts others or not is none of his business ! It's just what has to happen.

Now, I'm not saying he's never in the wrong, that'd simply be lying. The way he goes about it isn't with direct intent though, it's just the aftermath of what he did getting to others.

Overall, he does harm people on order to get his way sometimes, but that doesn't make him intentionally bad. It's just the consequences for the actions he doesn't think about.

Finally finished this guy! To all my other requests, I am working on those :D this guy was just completed first lol

and now, under the cut, talking abt my design choices and why I did what!

So I got asked for Rek. And I used to be really into Rek, like a year or so ago? And I do watch his videos quite a bit, since they're very fun :D and so I knew I wanted to make this more s3!Rek coded.

s3!Rek was paranoia at it's finest. Always hyper-vigilant, watching and noticing everything he could, constantly surrounded by danger signs and warnings. His main objective? Not to die (to traps at least).

And that's something I kinda wanted to represent with this. I got a book on Floriography for my birthday, so I really wanted to put that to use and incorporate a flower. And I found it, 'Oleander'. Meaning, caution. I feel like there are a few flowers that could represent Rek pretty well, but Oleander was the best one here in my opinion. The original plan was to make him hold the full flower thing, but I decided against that, instead having him hold a singular flower with the rest of them floating around him or on the ground. Caution is everywhere, he has to be careful not to step wrong.

The hearts are because, well, this is Lifesteal. All of Rek's caution is because this is Lifesteal. The warning signs are all from Lifesteal.

There's also his main colour scheme, blue and yellow, which I wanted to incorporate a bit! I think it looks pretty nice and stands out well so :D

The green is lowk meant to represent Parrot a bit, since he was his main source of paranoia!

The constant hypervigilance makes it's presence known as the outline type thing around Rek, slightly inspired by the spidey sense! I think it's a really cool way of showing alertness, vigilance, and I felt like it worked well here so :3

The red represents blood and horror and stress and blood and everything that makes Lifesteal Lifesteal! It is also a reminder that while Rek may be nice, he is not against murder or killing or what Lifesteal is about. He enjoys it, enjoys the adrenaline and the chase and the feeling of being hunted or the hunter.

And of course, the alert signs! Once again, leaning heavily into the paranoia. Everything is a warning sign, something to be watched closely.

I honestly really had fun drawing this one and deciding what to do for it, thank you so much for asking for Rek! It also gave me an excuse to practice poses :D sorry it's so late, hope you like it!!
