I still think about the time I was putting some vix vapo rub on a bug bite I got, and was starkly reminded by Arkhe’s reaction that it is very much a Filipino thing.

You know, I've joked with Arkhe about how my absolute inability to bake is due to some kind of curse on my family (considering no one else in my family knew how to, and Alia can't cook or bake). It's pretty impressive how bad these mess ups can be, and Arkhe's teased me for it before, but I always figured it really was just something I'm not good at and nothing more.

Of course, that was before Arkhe invited his friend SHII over while I was in the process of another attempt at making chocolate cupcakes. Cupcakes that ended up looking and tasting amazing.

Which is when I found out SHII has what I believe is an ability to ward off curses just by being around.

...I think it was just a coincidence. Maybe.

When I told Alphinaud about how I first met Arkhe, he gave me such a strange look. I wonder why.

My cousin’s actually really good at sewing, and oftentimes she’ll offer to fix up any of my favorite clothes if they get torn for any reason that definitely doesn’t have to do with the words “cat” and “claws” together.

Though I tend to forget that she’s a huge cosplay buff - until she posts a photo of herself, sometimes with Arkhe, all decked out. And they both always look amazing.
