A year ago I came out to my folks and a few months ago I started dating my girlfriend. Since then I've been trying to learn more about the Lesbian Community and honestly? It makes me so happy to know that people like you are a part of it. Like youre just so clever and powerful! You inspire me to be even more open about who I am!

im currently in the process of creating a website centered around butch lesbians and our experiences. the butch experience, however, is not a singular one. this means that i need other butches besides myself to be submitting articles and pieces for the website.

if you're a butch woman and you think you might be interested in contributing, please get into contact with me (preferably with a sample of your writing or an idea for a piece you’d like to be writing). this is by no means anything professional. i’m a recent high school graduate and have no way of creating a professional grade website, and unfortunately cannot pay anyone for the pieces that they write- again, this is more of a personal and community project than anything else.

it doesn’t matter if you’ve been writing for long or not, or if you’ve got any experience. if you’re butch and you’ve got something to say about it then i’m probably interested!
