"That doesn't sound so bad." She shrugged, flashing him a soft smile. "Snag me a bottle of wine and a couple of those little peanut butter cups I like?" She nudged him in the side, playfully, only to reach out and look over the teddy bear he was holding. "I haven't gotten a stuffed animal in years." She frowned, figuring that it was a gift for some girl on campus.
“You’re going to have to try harder than that if you expect me to AGREE to be your valentine.” Remington teased, rolling her eyes. Truth be told, she was just nervous to let somebody get close to her again. But, the offer was tempting nonetheless.
“What?” Mitch looked from Remi to the stuffed bear he had inadvertently held out to her. “Oh; sorry Rems,” he gave her a soft smile. “I was just wondering if this was your bear or not.”
“OH, no, it’s okay, Mitch. I uhm, no, it’s not mine.” She stammered an answer, embarrassed. Remington had missed the comfort of having somebody care about her, and while she still had friends, Valentines day was only a few days away and it felt lonelier than ever now that so many of the other ghosts had passed on. “Hey, Mitch? Have you gotten yourself a Valentine this year?” She asked curiously. “Or are you sittin’ this one out?”
“You’re going to have to try harder than that if you expect me to AGREE to be your valentine.” Remington teased, rolling her eyes. Truth be told, she was just nervous to let somebody get close to her again. But, the offer was tempting nonetheless.
“Well, I was just OFFERING. What’s the point of two attractive people being alone on Valentine’s Day to wallow in their own pathetic-ness?” Cara questioned, but didn’t demand much of an answer. “So, if you want to share a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates, I wouldn’t say no.”
“Champagne and chocolates DO sound like a good way to spend February 14th, but there has to be some catch. Nobody’s ever this nice.”
“You’re going to have to try harder than that if you expect me to AGREE to be your valentine.” Remington teased, rolling her eyes. Truth be told, she was just nervous to let somebody get close to her again. But, the offer was tempting nonetheless.
“Is that your idea of flirting?” Star grinned as she closed her hand on the chalky heart in her palm. “Well I guess I’ll just have to try harder next time~”
“No, it was my way of saying it’s gonna take more than a little heart to catch my attention.” Remington answered, a smirk on her lips, shaking her head. “Somebody’s determined.”
“You’re going to have to try harder than that if you expect me to AGREE to be your valentine.” Remington teased, rolling her eyes. Truth be told, she was just nervous to let somebody get close to her again. But, the offer was tempting nonetheless.
“I’ve seen like three girls on campus bring back those oversized teddies, and I want one.”
“Perhaps you should find a man to provide you comfort instead of a silly toy,” Elijah mused, taking a seat next to the girl.
It would have been a complete lie to say that Remington didn’t crave the warmth that others could provide. But, she knew most people didn’t want to cuddle up with a dead girl. She was freezing to the touch. At least a stuffed animal wouldn’t mind. Right? Crossing her legs, she pondered the man’s question, a smirk lining her lips. “Was that an offer?”
“I’ve seen like three girls on campus bring back those oversized teddies, and I want one.”
“Would you stop moping, already, and hurry up?” The blonde was more excited than usual. After taking a few weeks to focus on herself, she was finally feeling better. And what was a more fitting way to celebrate than an evening under the trees in the courtyard? A blanket was held tightly in the crook of her arm and a basket in the other hand, as she trekked across the cold ground. “I brought snacks, and music. Everything we need for an evening outside.”
“Freezing is the word your looking for, not moping,” Caspian corrected, begrudgingly following the blonde across the school grounds. He had met her last month, and had a hard time telling the excited girl that he was too busy to hang out when it seemed like all the other students he had tried to befriend had seemingly vanished into thin air. “I should have brought an extra sweater”
“No, you’re definitely moping.” She corrected. “If you’re really that cold, we’ll go back inside, but you can bet your ass I’m going to pout the rest of the evening, and chances are, you’re going to miss out on an amazing time with nature.”

Once again, a groan had inevitably left the dark haired girl’s lips as she was dragged out from her slumber for her close friend to celebrate her own return. As happy as she was seeing Remington back - more happy than she actually looked, Alexis hated doing anything else other than sleep and hated anything that deprives her from doing so. “ I had everything I need in my room. Like, my bed. Why are we doing this again?” She whined, but continued to follow Remington halfheartedly.
“Because it’s a waste of a day, to spend it in bed!” Remington argued, practically slamming one of her feet down against the ground in an effort to prove her point. “It’s so nice outside - Even if it’s cold.” She was grinning from ear to ear at the idea of how decent it was outside.

Having been at the school for almost as long as the ghosts, Alex had grown accustom to most of their antics. He was positive he couldn’t leave now, even if he wanted to. “Outside? It’s freezing.” The vampire rebutted, raising a brow. The cold no longer bothered him but he still didn’t like the idea of sitting out in the open. He still had to keep up appearances, after all.
“It’s not like it’s snowing yet.” She chimed, arguing his logic. Sure, it was cold outside. She knew that much by how often the other students on campus complained about the weather. And, she was dressed accordingly, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t going to enjoy the outdoors. “Stop pouting.” She scoffed, reaching out to tug him along. “Unless you want to do something else?”

It clears the acne, soothes the aggravation.” The brunette in question teased, looking back at the other with a smile before turning back to the mirror where she was braiding her hair. She didn’t feel like simply pulling a beanie over her head that night. “Do I need a jacket or a coat? Yes - there’s a definitive difference.”
“Absolutely not. Bad attitudes are the cause behind all bad things, Brooke.” Remington countered, shaking her head. “Bright attitudes spell for a bright life. Everyone ought to know that.” She pondered the question for a moment. She was in a coat herself, even though the cold didn’t affect her any longer. She still had to keep up appearances. “Wear a coat.”

You know that?” Julius chuckled as he caught up to her, he didn’t know why he had even agreed to this but he had and he couldn’t change his mind now. Once he caught up to her he fell into step beside her, “what snacks did you end up bringing?”
“How am I supposed to calm down? This is the nicest the weather has been in weeks, and I’m finally feeling better. I have to take advantage of this.” Surely, the idea that a ghost was feeling under the weather was ridiculous. But, Remington hadn’t quite been herself after Alan’s passing on, especially given the handful of others that had pushed on to the other side, just before that. She had been feeling extremely lonely, but she knew she had to get over it. She couldn’t just sit in the dark for the rest of her afterlife. She was far too loving for that. “Only the best, Julius. Cheez-its.”

“A special Monday,” he conceded, quirking an eyebrow. “You have to be younger than me - I rarely meet an undergrad that’s older than a grad student. I guess that’s part of it, but I feel like the things I’ve gone through in my life have aged me more than usual.”
"Exactly; a special Monday." She beamed, nodding her head before continuing up the street, walking backwards so she could watch him in the process. "Wouldn't you like to know?" She teased, finally turning on her heel to walk forward. "Like what?" She asked curiously.

“Bleeding,” Remington answered easily, shifting so that she was facing the girl as much as she could, finding convenience in her ghostly strength as she reached out to take the girl’s hand, making it easier to see her cut. “Ghosts can’t bleed.” She explained. “Couldn’t kill myself even if I wanted to.” Sure, she was already dead. But some days, she wished she could fade away completely.
“What are you talking about.” Logan’s brows furrowed as she tried to pull her hand away. “Ha. Funny.” Logan deadpanned as she pulled her sleeves back down over her hands. She didn’t know what Remi was getting at but now wasn’t the time for some cheap scare tactics.
“Sure you are.” Remington countered, taking another step forward, in time to notice the way Logan was fidgeting with her bracelets. “I can’t do that any more.” She commented softly. Now probably wasn’t the right time, but maybe it would scare some sense into the girl.
Logan froze a little as she covered her wrist with one hand when Remi moved closer to her. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She murmured, trying her best to shield her arm from the blonde’s view
