There was a time when Wolf Creek was just your average small town that had begun to weather around the edges. Sure, the buildings were older, and the theater smelled faintly of mold, but the community was alive, and its inhabitants were charmed by the slow-paced life they had found within it. 

Or so that is the story they now recite. 

But the truth can be distorted. Reality is not always what it may seem. 

Many years ago, the peace of Wolf Creek was shattered over the course of a single night. Seemingly out of nowhere, terrified reports described mysterious figures that began to emerge from the woods encircling the edge of the town and quickly descended upon its unsuspecting inhabitants. While governing organizations were called in to attempt to contain and minimize the issue, it was obvious that there was no easy solution to the problem. They weren’t going away: and nobody knew what to do with them.

Nearly a decade later, Wolf Creek still stands. But it is now a town enraptured in silent chaos and tension.  

These days, the town is a gilded cage. Serving as the containment zone for the mysterious creatures and humans alike who seem to appear near its doorstep and the primary location for researching how and where they came from. Dubbed “Project Wolf Creek” after the town that harbors it, this government-funded project serves to find a solution to Wolf Creek’s woes. One way or another.   

What is causing the dead to return?  Why only near Wolf Creek?  What fate will befall the town and all of its inhabitants? These are the questions still left unanswered.

RE: Project Wolf Creek is a horror Discord-based roleplay server set primarily within the world of Resident Evil. It takes place in an alternate timeline where a small unsuspecting town has become ground zero for a series of unsettling phenomena that cause the dead to return to life.

The server is a sandbox-style group RP set in the year 2026, with an expansive lore that combines elements from all of the Resident Evil games and other popular horror franchises.
