   “ HM…?” Ai’s attention moved from the television screen to the girl who spoke. Ah, that was right, he was in a public space so of course people would come by. What surprised him though was that someone actually attempted to talk to him while he was here. Well… there was no harm in responding to her.

   “No. This is my first time watching it.” Sure, he’d heard reviews for the drama prior but didn’t know much other than that. The storyline was easy enough to follow, but Ai still questioned the characters’ motives and actions. “But I have read reviews online. They mentioned the same thing.”

        is  she  the  most  talkative ?   perhaps  not  ,   rosé  had  this  habit  of  babbling  to  strangers  when  she  felt  alone  in  her  studio  apartment  ,   though  .   it’s  why  she  would  leave  the  apartment  -  to  talk  to  people  working  at  convenience  stores  ,   even  if  it  was  only  for  a  short  moment  .    she  looks  at  him  with  widened  eyes  .   ‘  sorry  ,   i  didn’t  mean  to  interrupt !  ’  

           always  so  quick  to  apologize  ,   never  wants  to  step  on  anyone’s  toes  .     ‘  i  just  really  like  the  show  -  ’    she  says  quietly  ,   head  turning  back  to  the  screen  .   she  knows  it’s  because  she  knows  what  it’s  like  ,   to  not  have  a  parent  in  your  life  .     ‘  you  should  check  it  out  if  you  get  the  chance  ,   there’s  a  little  something  for  everyone  .  ’

   he  makes a face when she says jumin, or even talks about him. but it’s a more playful roll of the eyes. they’re friends now, because of her. “ ya, ya, whatever, that’s how I feel. you know he gifted me this wine cooler ? “ he goes for prosecco instead ( bitter and bubbly ) and joins the spot next to her. “ anyways, “ the wine aside, he leans against the counter. he likes seeing her in his apartment, his heart feels full,  “ it’s the bitter and bubbly kind, anything for my girl, “ and then he stupidly winks, a lame attempt to be cute.

           she  chooses  to  put  chocolate  hair  in  a  ponytail  ,   pouts  up  at  him  as  he  rolls  his  eyes  .     ‘  that’s  how  you  feel  about  me ?  ’    sometimes  min-ji  liked  to  milk  what  she  had  ,   and  why  not ?   they  were  dating  ,   and  he  liked  spoiling  her  from  time  to  time  .     ‘  we’ll  have  to  thank  him  ,  ’   she  murmurs  ,   taking  the  bottle  gently  from  his  hands  and  setting  it  to  the  side  before  turning  back  to  him  .   she  leans  forward  ,   oddly  ...  FORWARD  of  her  as  she  pecks  the  tip  of  his  nose  .     ‘   you’re  the  best  .   should  we  begin ?  ’    min-ji  asks  ,   giggle  bubbling  from  her  lips  .   zen  always  did  make  her  so  ...  happy  &  content  .

   AI blinked a few times, staring at the television screen with confusion. For research he decided to look up a movie to study emotions, but only came up more confused than understanding. It seemed the more he watched the further confused he became. He would have stopped watching, but something made him persist.

          she’s  easily  distracted  ,   as  rosé  will  truly  take  anything  that  will  pull  her  out  of  her  real  life  ,   when  she’s  caught  by  two  things  :   the  boy  with  turquoise  hair  ,   and  the  teen  drama  playing  the  tv  .     ‘  oh  ...  i  love  this  show !  ’    she  says  absentmindedly  ,   coming  up  to  stand  next  to  him  as  she  does  so  .     ‘  they  purposely  don’t  have  parents  play  a  big  part  in  the  show  ,   so  they  can  focus  on  relationships  outside  of  family  ...   have  you  seen  the  show  before ?  ’    she  doesn’t  want  to  rant  to  someone  who  doesn’t  know  what  she’s  talking  about  .

‘ i’m not even hungry. ‘ yoosung doesn’t look up from his laptop , the bed is unmade and clothes are hanging from various places. his hair is messy and he’s wearing the same sweats from earlier that week , coffee stains the fabric with all the empty coffee cans on his desk. bags are heavy under his eyes , it’s questionable when it comes to when the last time he had slept. ‘ i’m fine. ‘

         she  can  tell  something  is  off  ,   but  isn’t  quite  sure  how  to  make  it  better  .   a  part  of  her  knows  it’s  rika  ,   for  the  blonde  woman  she  never  met    (  or  has  she ?  )    seems  to  haunt  everywhere  she  goes  despite  never  having  that  meeting  .   the  poor  rfa  seemed  to  have  a  hole  that  even  she  couldn’t  fix  .     ‘  but  you  should  still  eat  ,   you  and  zen  and  jaehee  and  seven  always  said  that  to  me  ,  ’    she  reminds  from  her  spot  on  his  bed  .     ‘  ...  are  you  ,   yoosung ?  ’

    HE LOVES SPENDING TIME WITH MIN-JI — but  realistically, who  wouldn’t ?  she  was  funny, thoughtful ..  and  not  someone you meet  everyday. he turns over his shoulder, seeing her sitting at the edge of the counter and he can’t help but think how cute she was being. “ Italian ? hmm … I think wine goes good , I think I have some. “ he knows he had some, because of that jerk who had not only purchased an expensive wine but also gifted a wine cooler ( also expensive ) for his birthday last year. “ chardonnay ? “ 

           his  apartment  has  a  way  of  making  her  feel  safe  ,   ever  since  their  oh  so  chaotic  first  meeting  ;   but  she  would  never  change  a  single  thing  about  it  .   the  experiences  they  shared  just  made  her  love  him  harder  ,   and  she  smiles  softly  at  him  .     ‘  is  it  dry ?  i’m  kinda  speaking  from  jumin’s  -  ’    and  she  lets  her  lips  linger  on  his  name  to  tease  her  boyfriend  ,   bright  eyes  upon  him  .      ‘  knowledge  .   i  think ?   his  words  kinda  go  in  one  ear  out  the  other  .  ’    and  her  whole  face  lights  up  at  his  question  .     ‘  is  it  the  bubbly  kind ?  ’
