“How to prioritize friendship and love?” by Lucas Friar
1/1 I actually think that MJ is a creative genius. I think most people in this fandom need to realize that he's right: this can't be resolved in one 30 min episode. It just can't.
We’ve got one girl who has been not only hiding her feelings, but lying to the two people who mean most to her, another girl who is downright confused about her sudden feelings for her best friends unofficial bf, and a boy who likes one girl, but the last thing he wants to do is hurt the other. All trying to solve it, while also trying to stay friends and not hurt anyone. Right now, let’s face it: they’re all confused teenagers. It’ll resolve itself soon (with RL obviously), but it can’t be done in one episode. Sit back, relax, and enjoy Riley and Lucas being endgame. :)
I totally agree. It would be unrealistic in a way if this was solved quickly, so I understand why it’s taking so long. I think most people are just frustrated by the situation when we the audience clearly know how they all feel and just want them to figure it out so we can move past this. But well all good things are worth the wait, so we just gotta hold on a little longer. We’ll get there. :)
Okay judgey, you got a solution for this?
I know this place has a lot of meaning to you, that makes it a special place to me.
#girlmeetsbaywindow had me in tears.. :'( :'( :'( next up.. #girlmeetslegacy can't wait!!
I realize that a lot of LM shippers are like, “Lucas needs to say how he feels. Give this man a voice.” Although I agree, but his actions speak much louder. A few examples of his words and actions: Girl Meets Texas (every part): *Lucas wanting Riley to stay and watch him *Him telling Riley that he couldn’t survive NY without her and that she’s important to him *His blatant opposition to her saying that they are brother and sister “That’s what you think we are?” “What if that’s not what I think we are (idk the exact wording to lazy to look it up but feel free to correct it.” ****Him NOT kissing Maya**** *Him being highly uncomfortable with the new brother sister dynamic *His investment in Riley and Charlies date more than his and Maya’s date Girl Meets New Year’s: *Again, him being more interested in Riley and Charlie’s thing *Blatant opposition to Charlie in general
Feel free to add more these are just a few off the top of my head but these episodes are more essential to the ships especially according to the writers.
Actions always speaks louder than words. Although he be confused on how he feels about Maya, it’ll never be at the same intensity as it is for Riley. I don’t think outfits or staring contest shows how ships are endgame, but instead the depth of things. The interactions in total. I’ll always believe in Rucas. Anti Rucas people always point out that oh their first relationship failed, but it failed because of everyone telling them the speed the had to go at. Their class pushed them together. They weren’t ready. They needed to build an element of trust, communication, and comfortability with eachother. The needed to take their time and I think in order to get pass this while pyramid of doom they need a little more time. With the right pressure you can make diamonds. With too much you create dust.
