I love Jinx and I love No More Heroes, so I wrote a kind of cutscene interaction between her and Travis Touchdown. She's crazy enough to belong in the NMHverse, but they both have a deeper emotional side that I wanted to explore with them together. In another life, they'd make great friends.

there is a mystery. detective John man is on the case. but what he discovers will shake him very very hard

Detective John Man was the best detective in the police, nothing got by him which is why drug people and other criminal people were scaredful of him. He once destroyed a whole building of evil men with his gun. That was when other criminals saw his eyes were full of revenge and justice. One day he was at his police desk. Man another day in this filthy city he said looking out of his window covered in wet from rain. Detective Frank was his partner and came in with a big file. John said frank. What is it said john. There is a new casino in town, and people keep going in and they never seen again. john knew he had to do something. his eyes lit up with revenge again. he picked up his gun and cocked it. casino huh he said, clicking his gun. i’ll show them that gambling his dangerous. he ran out and ran to his car, drifting away. time was counted for the casino.

I wanted to celebrate TimeBomb by writing something a bit poetic and introspective, to reflect on the nature of TimeBomb as a whole. I would have preferred it to be longer and delve deeper, but I really wanted to get something out for today. Glad I pushed myself to make something!

Really, the first time I started writing EVER was when I was bedridden due to a parkour-related incident and to pass the time I wrote little fan scripts for Doctor Who that I would shoot with my action figures. I pretended I was a show runner and everything, plotting out these plot threads across multiple episodes.

I properly started writing fanfiction in the modern ao3 sense when I wrote a Yuri!!! On Ice fic to impress a girl I liked who was a mega YOI girlie. It didn’t really work but it got me writing again and we got together in the end so all’s well that ends well.

I think at one point before that I tried writing a novelisation for Half-Life (never played the game, just went off footage from Freeman’s Mind on YouTube) and stories set in the world of Guy Ritchie’s Rock’n’Rolla.

A lot of people have been TimeBomb shippers since Jinx was introduced in 2013, others shipped them after the Bridge. For me it all clicked into place with Season 2 Act 3. I love Episode 7, but what happened was I started thinking about that beautiful unknown between Ekko saving Jinx and them diving into battle together. Did they reconcile? Did they apologise to each other? Did they express their true feelings? Did Jinx feel the same way? Did they agree to be... something, for what little time they had left? I started yearning for Mainverse Jinx and Ekko to be together once and for all, but I also treasured that pain of knowing they wouldn't be. TimeBomb, for me, is a sweet forever open wound, a longing for, as Sting says, what could have been.

When did you become a TimeBomber? What aspect of their relationships fascinated you the most when you started?

She's uncomfy because people in the academy still treat her with prejudice for being a Zaunite. Ekko's with her, so she mostly hangs with him and Viktor, her fav professor.

Someone suggested that Powder's single braid splitting into two as Jinx represents her adopting her "jinx" persona after enduring trauma. I wanted to depict this in her design, showing her as less violent than canon Jinx but still struggling to suppress that side of her.

Another Code AU where Powder, who has been raised by Vi her whole life since Vander died, receives a letter before her 13th birthday from… Vander? And he’s been living on an abandoned island? And then she gets there and tries to find him and discovers the ghost of a boy, Ekko, who lived on the island but can’t remember what happened to him, so they decide to investigate together.
