I’ve been so busy I’ve barely drawn anything since October... and then in half an hour I get this thing out haha

There are a TON of concept ideas I’ve had for a while, and this would be one of them :D

Also this is the first time I’ve drawn Asgore o.o

Hey guys,

So due to the onset of school (college, work, also moving x.x), updates on the comic and overall nice quality posts will just be posted less often.  I only really work on them when I have time (and the occasional 11 PM inspiration hit), and my priorities are primarily on school at this time.

That being said, I DO want to try to participate in Inktober (even if I’m out of town and traveling for a few days haha), so there will be mildly crappy ink sketches I’ll try to do every day.  XD  They will be of whatever the heck I feel like.  My hope is that it’ll help my confidence in just working in ink - I had literally never inked before in my life this time last year, and quite frankly I’m always a little intimidated by it - so it’ll be a fun thing.

Sorry about all that!  I’ve just been running around getting college finance stresses taken care of as well as classes, so all I’ve done since my last update were finish storyboarding, sketch out page 23, sketch some random concept ideas, wish I knew how to paint, and sketched a one page Not-Undertale comic.

We’ll see what happens - when I planned out the comic, I knew that it’d take me years to finish, with it being primarily a huge learning practice.  So we’ll see what happens!  I’m aiming to update like every two weeks if I can keep my schedule somewhat under control... yeah.

have you ever wanted to write about a character in undertale, but you found yourself stumbling back to the wiki or through text dumps just to make sure you used the right pronouns? worry no more – now with this comprehensive list, you can have a complete monster list along with a full pronouns list at your fingertips, all in one convenient page!

only frisk, chara, and fightable monsters are included.

for each character, pronouns were recorded and counted across the entire course of the game, even if it was a single instance. 

many of the characters are actually referred to with multiple pronouns. for those characters, their pronouns are listed in order from the most frequently used to the least (e.g., snowdrake’s mother is mostly referred to as “she/her” but occasionally called “it/its.”) 

characters marked with “????” are never referred to by a pronoun, though some of them can be inferred (see below the cut for details).

monsters who appear in more than one area have their image only included in the first area they are found in. (e.g., moldsmal should also appear in waterfall and final froggit, whimsalot, and astigmatism should all appear in hard mode.)

below the cut is a transcribed version of the pronouns list. in addition, it includes examples of when a particular pronoun is used, with the pronoun in question bolded for emphasis. a pronoun count is also included. please enjoy!

I finally discovered the texture folder in Manga Studio.

I was wondering where this thing was.

OMG I’m going to have so much fun

Went through the entire Chapt. 1 script and realized it all bunches really well into groups of 3 pages each... and since I had finished sketching/inking the next three pages, I’ve decided to try posting in groups of 3 instead of 4-6.

This means that updates will be shorter, but more frequent - and my hope is that it’ll motivate me more too, since I run into a fatigue problem with seeing the same 6 pages and don’t focus as much on it.  I’m also just going to be WAY busier for the next nine months (and possibly the summer depending on how many programs I get into), so we’ll just see where this goes. :)

So that sketch I did earlier - I ended up deciding I wanted to do an actual full thing with it.  So here we are with KLU!Sans taking a walk and listening to some music.

So some edits and a full lineart/color/shading later...
