I love The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway and appreciate that Josha does too.

The Old Man and the Sea is about an aging fisherman, Santiago, who battles a giant marlin after 84 days without a catch. Although sharks destroy the fish before he reaches shore, his courage, perseverance, and dignity remain intact. Hemingway's central message is that true victory isn't measured by what you keep, but by the strength, resilience, and honor you show in the struggle. As Santiago says, "A man can be destroyed but not defeated."
