I want

I want someone to hug me because they actually want to hug me and not because of a sense of obligation that comes with saying hello or goodbye. I want someone to take those robotic words of “I’m here for you” and actually put those words into an action. I want to sit on a bench by a pond alone... with anyone... just so I’m not physically alone. I want someone to ask how I’m doing instead of asking what’s up. I want to be able to be myself because others want me to be myself and not be the guy whose mask they like more. In short, I guess what I really want is love.
