I think a lot of people on this site get stuck on the belief or idea that tumblr is their whole world when it isn’t. Tumblr can be a lot and be very stressful and the things that happen on here can feel so important and terrifying, but it’s good to take a break and remind yourself there’s something outside of tumblr

Go on a walk, bake something, do something you enjoy that’s physical and not online. Your world is so much more than this website and if you ever get stressed out or caught up with all the drama that’s happening here, get off the app and do something to make you happy. Tumblr isn’t your whole world and it won’t ever be your whole world so if you need a break from it, take one

Stop talking over gay men. You may consider us the ‘straights’ of the community, but if a gay man calls you out for something you did that’s considered homophobic, actually listen to them instead of talking over them and pretending you know more about it.
