BUT IT WASN’T SO EASY TO BE tied to evil incarnate by a ruby thread of fate. in fact, it was the most cruel thing that could be done to her. shame was an understatement.

the moment played in her head like a movie, each time noticing more detail. the tone of cinder’s voice. the way she asked the question with all the confidence in the world. only to realize that this was destiny now / her burden to bear. as long as malice left her comrades alone, the ghost would keep her distracted. but pyrrha’s affections weren’t fake. if they were, the redhead wouldn’t be caught in the spider’s web like a helpless insect. but at the same time, this spider called her a demigod.

HERCULES, oh the affectionate nickname cinder had once given her. the maiden used it against her, knew that the admiration implied by the nickname was false / gave pyrrha a false sense of confidence ( she’d be lying through her teeth if she said she still had an ounce of that ). but didn’t heracles go mad ? he slayed his family ! and had to perform twelve labors to atone for his sin. so how many would she have to perform to atone for this ? this deformity of a relationship ? they were ABHORRENT together ( the woman before her only used her to her advantage ). but she knew this. and yet she still gave in, in the midst of the night when she was alone. nobody else visited her in recovery’s wake; she was not back to full strength yet. and they took off, no time to waste waiting on her. at least pyrrha could say that autumn was patient / persistent.

the warrior reached out a puppet limb to the other female, hand resting upon strong shoulder. of course she didn’t want to admit that she missed her. she only missed the person she pretended to be at beacon ( but in secret, she ached to feel wanted in the strange way the maiden only could make her ). and so the knight was a fool for the actress. it was pointless to lie and say she didn’t feel a part of her was missing / the hole in her chest wasn’t still an unbearable phantom wound. emerald irises were a pool of agony / distrust / regret. aureolin hues dove right in and drowned themselves in it. cinder saw through her facade; her gaze sliced it through like a sharpened blade.

the words were a whisper, as if she feared them ( they only affirmed cinder’s knowledge of her vulnerability ). “ you know i’d be lying if i said i didn’t. ” it felt like a stranger spoke in her place, like she wasn’t HERSELF when she was in the presence of the very thing she swore to PROTECT people from. pyrrha nikos was no champion / winner in this affair. “ but you aren’t who i thought you were once. so decide for yourself if i truly missed you. ”

ok, so ... here’s the plan ; i’m gonna make this a ... dash - only blog, very low activity kinda deal. i love cinder, but she’s gonna be a back - burner type of muse, tbh. i’m shifting my main focus towards ema and i’m probably going to make a bn.h.a rp blog for either uraraka / himiko ( i’m not sure yet / i don’t have any friends in the fandom and i’m super nervous about that ? ) i’ll figure it out ! but i am gonna be working on this blog for the next few days while i’m moving and stuffs. so feel free to hmu on dms or ask for my discord <3
