As I have said before, if someone is insanely trying to go after someone else for something they are NOT doing, it is likely that the accuser is the one who is guilty of the offense.

This very scary little section to the NDAA may be the biggest thing our country is facing since, oh I dunno, 9/11. Yet there is a complete media blackout on this! Therefore, the only way it is going to be reported to the citizens of this country is via you, and me, and all of our friends and acquaintances. Let the ruckus begin!!
File under things that make you sick and disgusted. Then go out and make sure you do not accidentally vote for one of these asshat judges!! Outrageous!
#OpTrickleDown - Adoggymous is asking dogs to get their humans to take a photo of them urinating on Romney pics or posters (on the actual man if possible hehe) and post it to the Adoggymous page!!

We are doing everything we can to get word out about our lawsuit into the mainstream. Mainstream media is not helping much - despite the fact that this is the biggest win for civil liberties in a decade. We need to "crowdsource" exposure and, well, the truth. Can you help us? Please attend this reddit event - and share widely. We will be holding an "Ask Me Anything" discussion on reddit. Plaintiffs and members of the legal team in the NDAA Lawsuit, Hedges v Obama, will be available to answer questions live from the audience. Chris Hedges will begin the discussion at noon, Eastern Time (US), followed by Daniel Ellsberg, and it will continue thereon with the legal team, including attorneys Bruce Afran and Carl Mayer and plaintiff Tangerine Bolen. David Segal, Executive Director of Demand Progress, the civil liberties group partnering with RevolutionTruth in the StopNDAA campaign supporting this lawsuit, will be on hand to answer questions about efforts to encourage President Obama to drop any appeals to this ruling. Birgitta Jonsdottir is going to try to be there as well. These events typically last four to five hours in total.
If you're not already familiar with Reddit, please take a quick look at the site. It's very easy to understand, which is one of its strengths. It is essentially a message board to which people can post links to other interesting things on the web or start discussion threads. Users of the site then vote those links/discussions up or down. Those which receive a lot of upvotes are driven to the front of the site. Each participant must have his or her own account, and it only takes a moment to register here: http://www.reddit.com/
Those in the taxi industry in San Francisco were wondering why both the color scheme and the driver involved in this accident had been kept secret. I knew it was Reza for days and finally posted comments telling people that fact the day before this story was posted. The one significant bit of info I want to talk about related to Reza is that he was officially DEPORTED a few years ago after being sentenced on yet another conviction. Wondering why he was still in the U.S.? A little known immigration policy which goes like this: Immigrants who are deported and who have been convicted of certain drug or violent crimes must be escorted to their home country by an ICE agent. If the home country has been declared unsafe for ICE to send an agent into, even just to land i.e., Iran, then the deportee is not removed from the U.S. Instead they are given a work permit and, aside from a monthly check-in with immigration, remain free in the U.S. to do as they chose. If at some time in the future relations between the home country and the U.S. improve the deportee could then be removed.
So, basically, if an immigrant is from a country we feel is our enemy and they are deported for serious crimes committed in the U.S. they are allowed to stay and assimilate into society....... interesting.
