My favorite thing about Clive is that he tries to seem edgy and broody at first but gives up like five minutes in. “I work alone, I’m not staying at the hideaway, I need revenge” before promptly delivering food to everyone in the hideaway, helping them with their botany, becoming Cid’s right hand man, and ultimately devoting his existence to seeing the oppressed peoples of the world freed in search of hope. Like five minutes in I was like “he’s too nice of a guy to keep trying to pretend he doesn’t care” lmao
