Warhammer Knight Questor. Painting this for a friend who’ll use it as his D&D paladin mini. First time with metals and I'm happy with how the gold layering came out. Details will need a bit of cleanup and edge highlighting.
Champion/Iudex Gundyr the Belated - Dark Souls 3 Been working on this one a little bit per day since last weekend. Finally put in the effort for detailing in the last 3 hours. Detailing the Pus of Man (the black demon thing on the right) was maddeningly slow. Left on my fanart hitlist are Dancer, Abyss Watchers, Nameless King, and Soul of Cinder. Maybe Siegward + Yhorm, maybe Lorian + Lothric. The other bosses just aren't visually interesting to me.
One more done. Painting faster now. About 2 hours on this guy up front. At this rate I'll have two full armored in 2 months (T_T)
Another night, another mini. Bought a Tamiya fine brush so I could do some tiny detail like the mask stitching on the left mini. Learning how to control the paint better too.
Late last night I finished another mini and did base colors for 3 more. Tried standard acrylic paint. Found that it doesn't flow the same way that Citadel paints do.
My first ever painted mini. Detailing was tough since the brushes I have can't keep a sharp tip. Anyone know where I can get tiny sable brushes?
A friend gifted me the Warhammer 40k Dark Vengeance set box. 2 years ago. I assembled then last year. Today I did the base coat. I swear that I will start painting this weekend.
