i think literally my greatest weakness is when someone creates a character(s) and improvs as them while playing Videos Games and they end up becoming like fully fleshed out with lore and a story separate from the course of the game . its just like playing toys actually

Just rewatching Searching for the Reason and I realised something - Alpha wouldn’t have told Kane (and eventually Apollo and Billy) the truth of their origins without that confrontation. He was initially going to “see him later” which probably meant “see you next Splatlocke recording session” and wallow in his self hatred. So what would’ve happened if Kane didn’t chase Alpha then get him to confess? Would Alpha have eventually revealed everything (I doubt it cos he kept stalling initially in Picking up the Pieces)? Would Kane find out from Dave and Travis (probably just Dave considering Travis was still poisoned)? Would Omega have reached Kane first and set everyone free? Crazy how one decision can change things.

Edit: Also “I didn’t wanna die.” Yeah that one changed and not for the better. Then again, there can be that conflict between not wanting to die and being suicidal so both could be true.
