“Perhaps, I can’t imagine why it came in here in the first place, I don’t eat tuna.”
Eh, well then who knows. But like I said before, I’ll be out of yer hair and she won’t be botherin’ ya again.

“Perhaps, I can’t imagine why it came in here in the first place, I don’t eat tuna.”
Eh, well then who knows. But like I said before, I’ll be out of yer hair and she won’t be botherin’ ya again.
a-handmaidens-tale:
“Well if your cats make a habit of entering my home we may get to know each other better after all.”
They usually don’t unless they smell tuna, but perhaps another place, another time.
a-handmaidens-tale:
“But its so much fun to use, what does suit me then?”
You can do whatever ya like, and I can’t say. Ask me that if we get the chance to know each other a little better.
a-handmaidens-tale:
“Thats such a good reason.”
Sarcasm doesn’t suit ya, Chère.
a-handmaidens-tale:
“Why do you have three of them?”
Why not?
a-handmaidens-tale:
“How many cats do you own exactly?”
I got three of ‘em.
a-handmaidens-tale:
“Aren’t all cats sneaky?”
Sure, some more so than others. Like my cat who got in without ya noticin’ she did....and here she is.
a-handmaidens-tale:
“I haven’t seen one, but you can look around I suppose.”
She’s a sneaky one, so ya probably didn’t notice her. Don’t worry, I’ll be out of yer hair in jus’ a minute.
a-handmaidens-tale:
“Was there something you wanted?”
I was lookin’ for my cat. She ran in here.

She reached for the glass of wine and couldn’t help but grin a little. “A little cryptic but Ah’ll take it. Cheers.”
“As much as I do have a way with words, there are just some occasions that a little crytpic is best,” he joked.
likegoingrogue:
“It might be a little more complicated than that with them being together. Ah hope it won’t come ta it but Ah’m not naive. Ah’ll be careful. Be careful, too, okay?”
“Nothin’ worse than couples fallin’ apart and fighting each other. It’ll be like a bad divorce,” he nodded. “I’m always careful, Chère, don’t worry about me.”
tommyminimoff:
“So has it happened to you before? I mean, not exactly that, but you know. Have you ever had any accidents with your powers?”
“Me? Never. I was the definition of perfection.”
tommyminimoff:
Tommy laughed a little. “Well, it was sorta when my mutation kicked in, right? It kinda came in leaps and bounds at first. Like when it first started I could only go like a thousand miles an hour. But I hadn’t figured out how the blowing shit up thing worked yet. And I got anxious and started like just tapping my foot too fuckin’ fast and blew a hole in my high school before I knew what I was doin’.”
Remy was able to easily picture the scenario that Tommy was painting for him and he couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped his lips. “I can understand that. I suppose we’ve all got that moment where our mutations got a little out of hand.”
likegoingrogue:
“Yeah, Ah think so,” Rogue grinned, stepping closer and wrapping her arms around him. “Thanks, Remy.”
The gesture was not unfamiliar to Remy, but it surprised him. He paused for a moment, gathering himself before he wrapped his arms around her too. “Don’t mention it, Chère.”
likegoingrogue:
Rogue was silent for a moment. She was not sure if saying it out loud was the right thing but she needed to talk to someone and at least Remy was someone she trusted. “— Ah don’t think Emma will let him continue this.”
“I imagine she won’t,” he nodded. “But that’s gunna lead to the Brotherhood falling apart and choosin’ sides, then yer all gunna be vulnerable so you just make sure that you stay careful.”
likegoingrogue:
“Just like that, yeah. Don’t let it go ta your head, Swamp Rat,” Rogue shook her head with a fond smile. When did she become fond of the Cajun, she didn’t even know.
The waitress returned with their orders and Remy grabbed the bottle of wine, pouring it for the both of them. Picking up his own glass, he held it up and said, “ta new beginnin’s and whatever else the future holds.”
