I'm excited, but also nervous if any new context provided will undercut some of the gags I have planned for the comics. Best case scenario, there's nothing I need to change and the comics are fine, worst case scenario I have to throw out whole ideas. I'm not really into shipping. At most I might enjoy stuff if it feels like it accurately and entertainingly portrays character dynamics. I may have had shipping soiled for me growing up from almost every fictional couple hooking up in ways that felt inorganic to me. My comic is written to be supplementary to the games, so I'll only go so far as whatever's already been depicted in canon. Which is the mild shipteasing dodecahedrons that could be read as platonic or romantic and Noelle's crush on Susie, which Susie seems to somewhat reciprocate. My hottest take is that I think there's a non-zero chance Noelle might fumble Susie by downplaying her friendship with Kris while they hang out at the festival. Whether they both move on or Noelle character develops into being more honest, we'll see I guess!

Do you think Kris knows about the weird age gaps in the SOUL each day? Because its pretty obvious that a single day (Hell, maybe even a single night) in the Deltarune universe is like 2-4 years in our time. So do you think Kris gets mad confused on why the SOUL went from 12 to 16 years old in a single night?

In the actual game, I think our ability to interface with the world is so limited, they wouldn't really notice. In my comic specifically, this idiot started playing the game when chapter 3/4 released (since that's when I played thinking the game was fully out), so not that much time has passed. It would be funny if it popped into the game one day and was just like "Yoooo, guess who just got married!!" on its honeymoon.

I have! They're very cool. To any folks unfamiliar, you can check out their stuff here! Looks like they've dubbed my most recent comic as well, which is insanely fast! It's always interesting to see how different dubbers interpret line delivery and sfx compared to what I imagine when I write them, granted I understand some of that comes from limitations on what sounds they can make and have access to. Still super cool though! Def check out other stuff from other dubbers too!

Y'know what? Fuck you. *modifies your spritesheet* I'm also putting oddly graphic depiction of cartoon penis on my chapter 5 bingo card. I just think it'd be funny if the little dot eyes weren't visual shorthand from sprite limitations and they just Look Like That. The recent album art only emboldens my vision. This script is actually hella old and I wanted to save it for much later. I kinda spoiled dot eyes Kris a little bit already. Will I ever get to draw this comic in order? Thank you, Toby for giving me 2 weeks to prioritize my more time sensitive scripts. Hopefully any contemporaneous jokes meant for pre-CH5 that I didn't have time to put out are Still Funny.

Why do the comics involving Frisk and Chara take place after the Genocide Route? Personally, the idea of imagining Undertale ending with the Route where everyone dies feels very... nihilistic

I actually have a bit about this!

The real reason: - I don't have to draw backgrounds. - How else will Frisk hang out with their cool ghost friend? I think it's implied Chara gets put to rest in a normal True Pacifist run. - Gives Frisk a reason to get bored and mess around in the other game. - While this is a comedy comic, there are darker elements in the original games that hang over it like a malaise. While I won't focus on them, I won't necessarily ignore them either. Resetting taking away the characters' happy ending is canon after all! - It's where I ended off in real life. - I don't have to draw backgrounds.

I wonder where they get it from. I'm still kinda sick, so I remembered a relatively easy script from the vault of comics I hallucinate over and over again until they appear on the page. The resolution is different from usual since I randomly decided to draw it in my sketch dump file.
