I just wanted to compile all of the horns headband doodles in one place.

I accidentally cooked a little too hard, so they get to be a little cool for a little bit. They're still just a little traitorous baby to me.

Pretty much! Ironically, I extrapolated this from the few sprites where they show their little evil dot eyes and thought if they just looked like that all the time, they'd look adorably hilarious.

seeing your sketch dumps(I hope that's what they're called, if not I apologize if this sounds disrespectful!!) or at least the ones you post makes me feel better about almost always just doodling all over a page in my sketchbook without it having much substance. Thank you for posting them they're very fun to look at and absorb all the fun little doodles and drawings and give me confidence to keep doing what gives me joy even if the doodles end up ugly half the time!

I do love me a doodle dump! Doodling is essential to getting better! It's fun and gives you a lot of room to practice and experiment. I used to have whole reams of paper in my backpack as a teen just for doodling. I drew so much I had no choice to throw them away unless I wanted to fill my house with them. There are plenty of doodles I don't post, because I personally want to prioritize my more interesting ones. But pretty or ugly, they're all important in their own way! Just keep drawing so long as it's fun :) I'd also recommend learning to doodle with pen if that interests ya. It's how I learned to draw in free-hand and just get more confident lines.

I really wanna write the █████ t-shirt/██████ comic, but there are 2 comics that have important progressions in them before I can do that and I would like to draw some sampler comics for my original projects to print for a thing.

I found these Krises I drew with my mouse specifically for this scene from this comic. I wanted to replicate how little kids might draw, but ended up completely forgetting about them. These were drawn a little after the McDonalds comic.

Hi OP! I love that you have Toriel acting just as goofy as Kris and the rest of her family in your art. It makes me sad when people characterise her as No Fun Allowed rather than Trying Very Hard To Be Responsible But Likes Funny Things Too Much.

I guess it comes from the angle of folks wanting to write Toriel as closer to the standard Mom archetype commonly seen in media. It is a logical contrast to how goofy everyone else is (and why I think rotating the straight man role is very important for more organic comedy, but I won't get into that rn). She's a jokester with a partygirl side she hasn't fully left behind. She's actually pretty loosey goosey with Kris from what we've seen, at least when she realizes her depressed ass kid that's implied to not leave bed some days has made a friend. She was seemingly stricter before with Asriel, but I'm guessing Kris being So Sad™ and having younger child privileges has made her more easy going with them. It doesn't help that she seems to find Kris' antics pretty funny. I do like to think that Kris got part of their sense of humor from her, since they definitely didn't get it from Asgore considering his rather... tone-deaf attempt (Toriel likes his pun in the Undertale VHS tape at least, but I thought it was bad, like c'mon, "Momedian"?). Toriel definitely likes puns, but I'm not sure if she enjoys black comedy as much as Kris seems to. Toriel projects the image of an idealized mom at first glance (Susie saw her as that), but there's lot to her for both better and worse.

Kris a cute. They're probably the first fictional character I've had such cuteness aggression towards. I'm usually more of a creature enjoyer, with my cats taking the top spot. While I might find it a bit funny to bully them a little bit (I am much meaner than the Soul I write), I personally don't get when people are overly aggressive at them. Any suffering they endure should be for narrative purpose imo. Being a little bit mean towards them is also the result of their behavior towards us, the Player. Give a little, get a little, y'know. It's allows for comedic dynamics. I would never be mean to Ronsley (or my cats to clarify), cuz it just feels unnecessarily mean. At least no meaner than the narrative is to him in the source material.
