Soooo, Gillian had her first golf lesson on Saturday and afterwards we hung around to hit a few (more like miss a lot)! She’s actually pretty good! She gave me a few pointers while using her clubs; which are for lefties (she is left-handed) and are too short for me (I’m 5’10”). I didn’t do all that bad though, considering it was beyond awkward trying to drive as a left-handed player (I’m right-handed). Having teenagers certainly gives you a different perspective on life. It has made me put my words into action. Soooo, tomorrow (Friday) I’m having a couple of procedures done. I’ve had uncomfortable indigestion for a few months and I’ve decided to have an upper endoscopy. Since I’m now an official member of Club 50, I am having a colonoscopy. Being African American (and my paternal grandmother had colon cancer), I should have had it done at 45; which is the recommendation. I am on a clear liquid diet today and what you see pictured is chicken broth and coffee.
