Rhuba laughed at her sonâs confusion. She couldnât blame him because it is true she should be dead. Thanks to her greed and wanting to get a job done faster and a man loving her to throw his life away; she lucked out.Â
"Arenât you feisty and quick to your action just like your father. Glad you took on my quick wit from my side." Rhuba wags her two fingers side to side to tease her son.
"Oh hmph. Let see what would make you believe me." She snapped quick out of the tease by placing her hands on her birthing hips and tilt them slight to think.
When she got a inkling she blurted out in her rambles. âIt is me Turles because only your mother would know you caught your tail under a rock and gotten paralyzed. Thankfully your mommy was around to save you that day who knows you could have died that day or if you some how able to cut your tail off and I saved you from the humiliation of not having one until you grown it back. My my I can see everyone laughing at you back then and that would have been terrible and they would never let it go wouldnât they.â
She looks off a bit to think more on her past missing it fondly.
Turles narrowed his gaze from what the woman had said to him because it was true. Partly. Pointed at her and spat back. âThat you caused! And what do you mean you saved me? You came back an hour later and then mocked me because you thought I done it to myself before releasing me. To top it all of it was the first day I got out of the embryonic tank. If you remember!â
Rhuba thought about it some more and busted into laugher. "Oh that is right good times." She quickly walked up to Turles with a bog fat smile. Staring him in his eye with mischievous sparkle within.
