Summary: Faeries are experts at throwing out-of-control parties as well as twisting people to behave as they desire. Jude is thrown into one and figures out the other.

The unfamiliar male faerie smiled nervously back at her, probably trying his best to keep up with her dancing while also staring at her unrelentingly. Jude was surprised she was still able to dance so smoothly. She had never been one to hold her liquor, and three-drink Jude was surprising her.

But to be fair, she deserved a break. The last three or four months had been a brutal succession of stress, anxiety, and more than the occasional spat with the High King, not to mention the problems that had been brought to her desk. Just the thought of her work made Jude’s pulse race.

Fantasy book rec: Priory of the orange tree

y’all, this book is SO GOOD! it’s a high fantasy standalone book that has representation a f/f relationship (I absolutely adored the relationship in this book, it was beautifully done). this book is about 800 pages, which makes it seem like it’s a lot, but i felt like the length of the book was perfect for the plot. i totally fell in love with the characters & would die for the female characters. there’s also these beautiful dragons which i adored. the world building & everything about this book is perfect. this book became an instant favorite of mine. Would HIGHLY recommend for people that love fantasy.

The Priory of the Orange Tree is…. I haven’t felt this way about a book in a really long time. I’ve stayed up way too late reading this book because it’s so incredible

Give it a read!- it’s pages and pages of extremely well built worlds, religions, and history

Also it has dragons and features f/f and m/m relationships - it’s incredibly well written and put together
