Writing, and Share
This is something "new” for me. Well, I used to post something short, mostly just on social media. But this is terrifying, tho. I mean, you are about to show people what’s on your mind, what you think about the world, life, stuff, anything.
I’m not an extrovert type of person. If I get so mad, I’d like to stay in silent mode. Probably because when my parents were angry, they prefer to give me a silent treatment rather than say something hurtful. Yes, probably because of that. Not a fully introvert too, because somehow it’s scary to be all alone and not be able to express what I feel. People call it ambivert, so, yes, it is.
It’s weird for me. Not the first time tho, but somehow it’s just...awkward. I read a lot, be it blogs, news, or books. But when it comes to me writing something that come from my own thought, some questions popped up like crazy. What if I wrote something unimportant? What if I reveal too much personal information in my blog? What if it’s too much about me? What if I failed to be funny in my so called “funny” topic? What if any information I shared were (mostly) wrong? What if I won’t be able to be as cool and mysterious as before anymore (ugh, please)? What if some haters (yes, there is a few) use my own post to attack and insult me? And another “what if” list goes on and on and on...
But here I am, start to write my late night thoughts here. This is gonna be the platform where I share my very own personal thought, leaving my job title as a designer behind. This is Silvia in her non-work life. Hopefully, I can write something useful, something that people can learn, something positive, and something shameless to read in the future, of course. LOL.
(Oh and there are lots of drafts here and there need to be finished soon, ha!)
See you on my next post.
xoxo,
Silvia
