I’m not claiming that Riara is a healthy relationship by real life standards. If Kiara and Rafe were real people then no, I wouldn’t want them to be together for obvious reasons. BUT, people are forgetting that this is fiction. Fiction is a place where you’re allowed to explore different dynamics you find interesting. Toxic relationships in teen dramas have been popular for ages now. Delena might be one of the most toxic relationships out there but do you get death threats for liking them together? Remember it’s fiction, if you hate a ship don’t interact with the people who ship them and come at them with the “you love abuse!” allegations.
