The wall got bigger this time. Bold lettering still anchors it, but now there's a street cat leaping mid-tag, a dragon fused into rusted mechanical gears, a spaceship breaking through cracked concrete like it's just another train car to hit. Neon drips bleed into weathered brick. Cosmic tags sit next to cherry blossoms sit next to a rainbow arching straight through a decaying wall — all the same bold, numbered, spray-can logic holding it together.

It still reads as one world. Just a much wider one. Sharper line, heavier contrast, that same puzzle-like structure that makes you follow the numbers instead of drifting.

Color it like you're finishing a piece before someone paints over it.

Stained Animals Chibis brings chibi animals into the Shards of Light series — bold lead-came structure, high pre-fill black, and Normal plus

These are chibi animals made entirely of stained glass. Thick lead-came borders, bold pre-filled black segments, and a palette that splits between warm jewel tones and full cosmic — the same motif in ruby-and-amber versus nebula-blue-and-star-white. The pre-fill black is the thing: before you add a single color, the page already reads like a graphic print, all structure and contrast. Then you fill in the glass.

They are small in form and surprisingly demanding in practice — up to sixteen distinct color zones per animal, because feathers and scales and tail arcs have their own internal logic when they are built from shards. The chibi shape contains a lot.

There is something about a world that fits in your hands.

JarDropping is a coloring page series I've been working on around one idea: what lives inside glass containers? Not just plants (though there are plants) — entire ecosystems, sealed and quiet. A coral reef inside an apothecary bottle. An enchanted forest behind a mason jar. A galaxy in a round terrarium globe.

Each jar is a self-contained composition. The glass is the frame. Whatever world fits inside has to tell its own story without spilling over the edge.

The series spans four volumes: botanical and fairy gardens, underwater coral scenes, cosmic and fantasy jars, and seasonal compositions with four-season trees. PBN (Paint by Numbers) and B/W Fineline formats — the PBN gives you a roadmap, the Fineline gives you the open field.

The Classic volume has pages that take up to two and a half hours. That's right for certain evenings. Chibi Shards is for the other kind: bold lead-came outlines, super-deformed anime girls, large jewel-toned fill zones, fifteen to thirty minutes per page. Each character has an animal companion built from the same stained glass structure — a puffball barn owl made of amber glass ovals, a fennec fox with ear-triangles as tall as its own body, a raven of three black panels and one amber eye.

The combination of chibi proportions and stained glass segmentation is one I haven't seen done anywhere else commercially. The result is something between cathedral window and kawaii illustration — formal structure holding soft, round shapes.

The series moves through different environments, each with its own rules: a supernova spreading across the horizon, a wide plain with cliffs at the edge that reads like the edge of the level itself, spaces that feel simultaneously alien and weirdly calm. The kind of background art that usually disappears in a few seconds before the mission loads.
