A great get together for the 33rd AOP Awards. 

Flattered to once again be a finalist nominee with my series “ The Original Cloud Based Network” commissioned by Jetcraft in the US.

I’m fortunate to be commissioned by some great clients in the aerospace and technology sectors.

They continue to provide rich opportunities for me to shoot some fascinating projects. 

UK / French aerospace company Thales supply the Watchkeeper reconnaissance UAV to the British Armed forces and last week my team and I completed our third air to air film showcasing the important work that this “drone” undertakes protecting British lives in its role as the eyes and ears of forces on the ground. 

Last weeks shoot involved filming Watchkeeper offshore as it provided cover for various naval vessels involved in exercise Unmanned Warrior.

Helicopter filming unit FlyingTV and myself as director are the only crew licensed in UK airspace to undertake this complex air to air filming with an unmanned drone.

Just got home from a 2 day shoot in Newcastle - I really love this city. 

Dramatic and modern but has retained a solid connection with its industrial heritage, oh and Geordies have to be the friendliest people in the UK.
