Reader story: Well 7 years ago I went to my doctor with a tight frenulum but a fully retractable healthy foreskin. I was told that I would need a circumcision and was scheduled for surgery a few weeks later. In that time I did some research and found out you could just have your frenulum cut out and your foreskin left intact. So on the day of my surgery I told the doctor who gave me my consent forms that I didn’t want a circumcision, I just wanted the right frenulum removed. She said that that would be fine and I signed the forms. 20 mins later I was taken through to be anaesthetised. After surgery I went home all bandaged up and kept it on till I had a bath the next morning. When I took them off I discovered that I had been given a radical circumcision. It turns out that the doctor who consented me didn’t perform the surgery and didn’t tell the guy who did that I wasn’t to be circumcised. I feel like I was butchered, it was cut low and very unevenly. On the underside it is cut so tight that my dick curves when I’m hard and on the top side the skin is super loose. I never even wanted a circumcision
