Eddie Kaspbrak is more than his relationship with Richie and I feel like not very many people realise this anymore so Iβm gonna rant.
Eddie Kaspbrak turned a rude gesture permanently on his cast into a fucking art icon okay? I dunno about you guys but if someone did that to me I wouldnβt be taking it so well. Eddie Kaspbrak fought back against Pennywise with a broken arm. Thatβs insane; he seriously just kept fighting back with every bit of life he had, no matter how much it hurt. Eddie Kaspbrak stood Β up to an emotionally abusive mother when his friends needed him. Eddie Kaspbrak is brave, loyal, and needs to be recognised outside of Reddie because this boy is an icon and I will not settle for him only being really noticed when heβs with Richie.

during the rock fight he fucking rOARED and was the first one to jump into the water and throw rocks at henry bowersβ gang even though he knew he would be the easiest to get hit
also, on the other side of things than him being an aggressive little badass (though i loveΒ that), heβs also like. for all of his aggression &Β βangry smolβ energy & tendency to throw scathing words out a mile per minute, heβs alsoβ¦ really good with the quiet moments? like when they first see mikeβs bike when theyβre abt to rescue him from bowers gang, billβs like,Β βis that the homeschooled kidβs bike?β & eddie says,Β βyeah, thatβs mikeβsβ, whichβ¦ genuinely not sure any of the other losers knew his name lmao. and then!! in the sewer, when they realise stanβs missing, eddieβs running ahead & grabs stanβs flashlight off the dirty ass ground before anyone else can even reach it bc heβs soΒ worried abt his friend, & when stan is Freaking Out (understandably), eddie β aggro, always-bickering-with-richie, cutting, frenetic eddie β is the one who calms him down, all quiet, steady words of reassurance,Β βwe would never let anything happen to youβ, βweβre here for youββ¦ eddie kaspbrak is tough and strong and ferocious and fucking resilient, brave and witty and takes no shit, and he is a good fucking friend
